There are all sorts of nice frames one can rig up for restraint purposes. A scaled down scaffolding used for industrial railings is pretty cool for that purpose. There's an Aussie equivalent too, can't recall the name... Try making yourself a bed frame out of the stuff. It should give food for thought.
