While i think there is some truth in what you say and yes a dominant man will take the lead, i think sometimes there are other emotional issues at play too. I've always gone places with my lovers that i didn't with my husband, both during and after the marriage. I think because you are not emotionally invested in a playmate you don't care what they think. Lets face it you never have to go there again. With a partner you want their respect as well, you are going home together. To have complete sexual honesty with someone i have a loving bond with can be a little confronting. It requires complete vulnerability, something i've not long been interested in sharing.

the real submissive desire comes to the fore. I have done things for a man out of the norm and enjoyed it though I am on a sexual journey and LOVING it! Men have also done things for me out of norm. Sexuality is a journey when you start to be come comfortable with yourself in knowing what it you do like and not afraid to express it anymore.

On what type of person your partner is. If shes naturally slightly submissive and in the right environment, like a group swingers party and she comes across a guy that she fancies and he her, its quite possible that he will dominate her. My wife enjoys being dominated, in the right way, because if she fancies a guy she meets she becomes quite submissive to him, which is a real turn on for her, especially if he knows how to push her buttons.. And I am still gobsmacked at DG's comment. I don't believe women are naturally more submissive at all. It's a role we choose to play because it suits us to do so. Some men need to feel dominant DG when really they are not. It's a woman'a gift to make him feel more "manly". P.S. Without women hardly anything would get done in this world!

It can be difficult for some women to say what they do or do not want in the bedroom. So if that happens in an environment like that and she is not completely comfortable, she may play along with i.I used to be quite shy....ha....and wouldn't really say or make known what I liked in bed.....so men just got along with it.Now, I dont necessarily have to say what I want in bed...but I can show it to them...move around...dictate whats going on. I do like it when a guy is dominant at times and moves me around and has me how he wants me...so long as this is done in a caring environment and I don't feel abused.

I agree with Meeka and MsDevious...we are NOT by nature submissive! in fact I have been asked by more men than i can count in recent months to play a Mistress role, with very submissive men! If such a man as your description exists....he has never crossed my path unfortunately!! Often women go along with the role playing and cater to the egos of their men to keep the peace, but it is as Meeks said, a game.

You got to feel sorry for some men really... They really think they dominate women. Apart from the abusive ones who are scum and probably are angry at their 1 inch penis, men do not dominate women unless they allow it. Smart men have figured this out... Other men still seem to be living in the 1950's!! Of course there are some submissive women but there are submissive men as well. I think it says something about person when they are always focused on controlling others. ^_^

I've actually done far kinkier things with women than I have with men ;) The right woman seems to get a response from me out of my norm. Interestingly, I have been both more submissive and more dominant with women than I have with men, although there may have been men present a time or two ;)
