I have a Prince Albert I wear all the time and a frenum loop (frenum piercing with a ring worn around the shaft behind the glans) which I wear occasionally. Some people love the feeling, some don't notice and some don't like them. I can't say definitively but I think when they have been stretched up to larger guage than initially pierced the feeling is probably better for the woman, less like a thin piece of wire scraping along and more like an interesting bump. If you are thinking of getting something done for the sole purpose of changing the sensation go with the beading. I've had some of my piecings for years but when I got the beads down the top of my shaft my partner at the time was absolutely thrilled.
