You know...

February 09 2016

...as I browse the forums, sometimes I find myself attaching tunes to the titles of various personalities. Just for the hell of it, I suppose, not deliberately. For example: to the tune of Barry Manilows "Copacabana"......"Her name was Koko..Koko fla-ming-o, with yellow feathers in her hair.."..( I'm still working out the rest..). Or, to Seals and Croft....."Summer breeeeeeze, makes me feel high....blowin' through the jasmine of my miiinnd.."What kind of spontaneous random associations do you make in your day to day?Is it musical like me, or visual maybe? And the spontaneous stuff...things that just pop into your head with a little unintentional prompting. I like to think I've a healthy imagination . Over to you...

I LOVE dressing up, so the yellow feathers is a fair assumption! I dont do song associations, but thats so cute! I do however, if Im chatting to someone, get a picture in my head of what they look like before I see pics if they dont have face ones on their profile. Most of the time I am pleasantly surprised as they look much better than I imagined. Just the other day....one guy gave me access to his face pics....totally not what I had in my little face album in my head, but oh, my! Very handsome!

Interesting topic. I do have a similar thing to you but just the tune as I adlib lyrics. I have to say I probably have a myriad of ways of associating and memorising. One of the regular things I do is when I see or think of something when walking, I step out the syllables of a sentence regarding said site or thought, bit of an OCD I guess. I suppose it all depends on my mood and personality on the day to which association game I play.

Often. The most recent when I read a recent thread, and subsequently the much spoken of OP's profile - about keeping men away from his partner. The song that came to mind was Genghis Khan by Miike Snow I get a little bit Genghis KhanI don't want you to get it onWith nobody else but meWith nobody else but meeeeeeee

Quoting 'Summer_solstice' I'm pretty sure it's "fine", but I'll gladly take your "high"! I make associations all the time, and as result am constantly singing songs and quoting movies. Drives my colleagues nuts. ...but "high" sounds so appropriate somehow

It's nice to know I'm not the abnormal one for making song associations. It's a work in progress...I'll figure out the rest of that Manilow tune as we go, Koko. Cha...cha..cha..chaaa...!!

Chrissy Amphlett 😁 my profile name is a song, and very apt 😊👍 great song too. She was so sexy and from her lyrics and passion she sung them with, I have no doubt she orgasmed the way I do. 'Pleasure and Pain' sums up my clit orgasms, solo mostly, if I get there too fast, painful 😕 her sexuality was real, and what an amazing artist RIP Chrissy 😘

I read stories about fantasy, magic, swordplay and both my adult kids are gamers and I've watched them play as the stories and graphics in some are really interesting. Kool, I've always thought you'd fit into one of the books or the games easily wearing a distinctive mix of armour and hooded cloak.

...Anyway. The other week. A charming 25yo female workmate...she's telling me about her weekend with her crew, night on the town...she loves to dance, etc etc. "And so this girl was dissin' me...challenged me to a dance off...so I couldn't sit back and take that..." My eyes glazed over at that point. I had visions of Derek Zoolander and those cheesy teen flicks like "Step up". Whilst, in my mind, I thought "Your fuckin' kidding me...people actually do that?!" I summoned all my strength and kept a straight face whilst nodding my head in polite understanding. I think I had stepped into the Twilight Zone...

I have a vivid imagination and I often spend my time during long commutes lost in my own world of dreams and fantasies. Recently, I have been watching Game of Thrones and I started to visualise a few of the regular forumites in medieval costumes, acting out roles in Game of Thrones! I'm talking about you, Summer Solstice, lilybethyname, Freya, I touch myself 2, and a few other peeps whose nicknames I cannot recall atm.

Singing aside, she showed that you don't have to be the best looking girl on the block to be hot an sexy. When I'm working on the nightshift and playing music loudly, I do a belting version of "I'm Jealous" when it comes on.You gotta sing it like you mean it!

Kool, I've always thought you'd fit into one of the books or the games easily wearing a distinctive mix of armour and hooded cloak. ...back when the latest and greatest arcade game was a 4 player( 4 players at once?! Amaaaazing... ) called "Gauntlet",my closest friends and I used to play a lot of different RPG's. That's Role Playing Games...not Rocket Propelled Grenades .From Battletech with its giant Japanese fighting robots, and Marvel Superheroes( you could create your own hero and powers ) to the archetypal classic...Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. In AD&D, I often liked creating and playing the character of The Cleric. The warrior priest who wouldn't use edged weapons, only things like maces and morning stars....something about "spilling blood" being against his religion, I think...but whose god would bestow upon him divine healing abilities. Go figure...

...I have a vivid imagination( see above.. ) and I know exactly what your talking about. I'd use a medieval context too to insert our esteemed forumites in...something about the romantic in me maybe. For example: I can easily see Summer as a Boudicca type figure, resplendent on her battle chariot...Freya the Druid, hooded and cloaked, birch branches in her hands...and Lady Koko Macbeth. I was watching the new movie of it last night...heavy stuff.

I got another man... and he ain't nothing like you.... I got another man and he knows what to do. He's not pushy, lazy, he's motivated. He's not cranky, he loves me just as I am. I got another man, and he ain't nothing like you. Haha, Peachy
