Would be interesting to know! I took a Cialis tablet last weekend just to see what would happen! I walked around all weekend with a hardon! I mean I couldn't even go shopping! Wow - the missus didn't mind though ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

...just Google ''viagra cialis women'' as there have already been some clinical tests with measured results completed and at the very least, these are very interesting. Quite a number of reliable medical resource sites have gone to some length in presenting the results of these studies. Of course either will suddenly make your voice get deeper and you'll have to shave your face in the morning.

Interesting, it's mixed, but rather hear the real life feedback. Thanks posters, Viagra good, Cialis not so good and I guess side effects need to be thought about. Sounds like a possible fun experiment though. In the name of science of course. Marti468 that's one way of getting out of doing the groceries 😄 - Posted from rhpmobile

that Viagra etc. are vasodilators (i.e. they increase blood flow) I would imagine they could definitely also enhance female arousal and sensation by encouraging more blood flow to the pelvic region. Unfortunately they can also cause headaches, as mentioned above. They don't contain any testosterone, so no you're not going to end up with a deeper voice or grow more hair

Can't remember where I read it or if the dose is the same, but women certainly can get a reaction. I tryed a viagra tablet once and it made my blood pressure go up ? .. My head felt like it was ready to burst and afterwards left me with a bad headache.. But that's me , I'm sure it works wonders for others..

But that's me , I'm sure it works wonders for others.. gave me a bad headache too, not quite the pounding action you think of with those drugs... but viagra actually drops your BP - it's a vasodilator so the blood floods into the little capillaries and other bits of tissue that might get engorged with blood. Your extremities might be more full than usual and feel like higher pressure, but your actual blood pressure would have dropped (same as those guys who faint or get light headed when they get a hard-on)

...whether your male or female that if you are going to try it, talk to your doctor first as there are numerous contraindications for this class of PDE-5 Inhibitor drugs. There is still isn't such a thing as ''sex to die for'' and no sense in wondering if there could be negative consequences of interaction with other medications you may be taking. Best of luck with it.... CM

The topic has got us thinking about how it all works and so, perhaps those of you who have taken Viagra or Cialis can correct us if we are wrong with regards our line of thought. Arousal starts in the brain we believe. One of our medical specialists told us that the brain is the primary sex organ You have naughty lustful thoughts and this triggers the arousal response which in turn triggers for more blood to flow to certain parts of the body - the penis in men and vagina/vulva in women - when then become erect and or engorged. So something in the brain (or computer) opens the correct "valves" and pathways for extra blood to flow to the sexual organs - all in order to get them ready for sex/procreation ? Does this sound right? In some people, due to health problems and or other issues, they either have a problem becoming aroused or they have a problem getting and or maintaining an erection. Viagra & Cialos are "Vasodilators" - they relax the smooth muscle cells in arteries, causing them to dilate which in turn allows more blood to flow through them. This is how viagra/cialis work - the blood vessels relax and more blood flows through them, to all parts of the body - ears, toes, chin, finger tips, brain and even the penis/vulva. The mere fact that blood flows , in a greater volume, to the extremeties, does not mean that one will become aroused, horny and wanting to hump anyone and everything ? Does this sound right? So if you take a viagra tablet, yes blood will flow to the extremeties (all the extremeties not just the sexual organs?) but you wont necessarily get aroused and erect, unless you think about it , think about sex, and allow your brain to open the "valves" that then will allow more blood to flow to your penis / vulva? And of course once you are erect, after taking viagra and thinking about sex (mental and or a little physical stimulation) then the valves are open, the blood flow to the penis is increased and they valves stay open for longer, due to the vasodilatory properties of the drug? Hence walking around with a hard on for hours afterwards? So Viagra /Cialis are not wonder drugs guaranteed to make you horny - to turn women on and get them to beg for sex? The attraction/arousal/need still needs to be there and come from the mind (brain?) Are we on the right track here? The headaches are more than likely due to increased blood flow to the brain and or the chemical side effects? Dilating the arteries etc does not raise the blood pressure, but actually lowers it - thats what some BP medications do we have been told. So Viagra / Cialis are not the "Spanish Fly " of the medical world are they? We have heard that quite a few doctors have been prescribing testosterone cream to women - for them to rub on their vulvas. App sex drive is linked to testosterone - which is why men have a higher sex drive and thus a higher and more frequent need for sex, than women? So do viagra and cialis increase ones sex drive? Or are do they simply make getting an erection and maintaining said erection, easier ? I they facilitate the process but are not responsible for the sex drive / arousal / aspect that is important for sexual initiation/enjoyment & satisfaction?

As others have said, these are prescription medications, and should not be used as if they are harmless. The simple fact that they cause headaches should be enough evidence to stay away. I hope these aren't covered on the PBS. Good luck and stay safe. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Kisskiss80'The simple fact that they cause headaches should be enough evidence to stay away. Interestingly enough, the near-immediate headache is quite similar to very common side effect of putting a GTN tablet under your tongue and used as a regular therapy for angina and in post-cardio patients. No thanks although thank you! Best.....CM

Can you OD on Viagra? What happens? Has anyone ever died from a Viagra overdose You can get too much of a good thing, and that includes Viagra. For most people, the recommended dosage of 50mg or 100mg suffices, and they have no reason to take more than that. It's not advisable to take more than 100mg in a 24-hour period. And if the recommended dosage is working for you, why waste the pills? But there have been cases reported of men taking excessive doses, and suffering the consequences. Viagra is sometimes abused recreationally by younger guys who don't have ED, and used in combination with other drugs, like ecstasy. In those situations, folks may be altered or drunk, and aren't aware of (or don't care) how much they're ingesting. Like Tom Kaulitz, the 20-year-old guitarist of German rock group Tokio Hotel, who overindulged during a tour of Asia after getting the tablets (and probably a few other things) from a drug dealer. Not exercising the best judgment, he popped several pills and woke up with a killer headache and blurry vision that lasted two days. All things considered, he got off easy, unlike the Russian dude who supposedly downed a whole bottle to fuel a 12-hour sex marathon with two women, with a $4300 wager riding on it. He made it through the 12 hours, then promptly had a heart attack and died. He was 28. Medics said it was likely the excessive Viagra killed him. A bottle of Viagra has about 30 100mg tablets, so that would be 3000mg. I'm surprised his head (or another body part) didn't just explode first. In laboratory settings, researchers have given people up to 800mg of Viagra, and they survived, but that was in a monitored clinical setting. And I'll bet those guys weren't having much fun. Too much of the drug can cause your blood pressure to drop dangerously. Symptoms of a Viagra overdose can include headache, blurred vision, nausea, dizziness and fainting, and irregular heartbeat. And there can be worse effects, like heart attacks and strokes. So don't go overboard trying to fuel any record-breaking sex sessions, or the only thing that's going to be pounding is your head. Taken in normal quantities under a doctor's supervision, Viagra is a safe drug. But if you do suspect you've ingested too much Viagra, or are having a drug interaction, get medical help immediately.
