We attended a rope workshop at Uber recently and they said they have a BDSM party once once a month. From my understanding there is no sex involved more exhibiting BDSM in a safe environment. I'm curious in attending and would love to hear from others who have been. Ms NC2147- Posted from rhpmobile

I have a friend who attends Uber when he can, you dress up in fetish attire etc, and can play if you want from what i can gather...he has promised to escort me one of these days....lol theyre pretty popular with the ALT and Fetlife crowd I think

We went to an Uber party a few months ago. It was a nice chilled out play party space. Depends what you're looking for really - it's focussed on BDSM play, so if that's your thing to do in a public party scene, you'll love it.

They have just announced a whole list of new workshops and stay and play parties over February and March. DBSM for beginners, Rough play and staying safe, and a fisting workshop presented by Daddy K... oohh yeah.

Most of my Munch group hire a bus and go down regularly. They say it's so professionally organised, they rave about how helpful the staff are and the lady who runs it is forever given accolades by all afterwards in FL forums. One mate has become addicted to electro play there. I'm intending to go soon and can't wait.

I've been to three or four... the best way to get the most fun is to go as a couple. I've seen single girls being hit on by all the wannabe MASTERDOMs that frequent these events. It looked pathetic ( The advice would be to go with someone who knows the "scene" a little bit from the inside and can give you a quick tour and be your guide as to what's going on. Try to keep away from the know-it-alls with "30 years experience as a Master Dominate" as they are usually the most f**ked up characters among that community. With regards to play, it usually starts with something light in the common area (like tying and flogging) with most people just standing around and watching, then more serious stuff starts to happen e.g. needle play, electro, medical etc., but you can easily avoid that by staying out of the smaller rooms and in the hall area. Overall, it's fun and well worth visiting at least once.

the usual ratio of men to women in uber is similar to that of the whole bdsm scene which is approx. 70/30 M/F with regards to your costume you can go as crazy as you like (I've seen people walking around completely naked) but keep in mind that if you turn up looking really extreme, there will be a less chance of people wanting to approach you for conversations (although for some it will be the opposite actually) a good idea would be to wear something a bit more covering first, and then losing parts (or all) of it as the night progresses there's a cloak room at the door where you can store all your stuff

I would be very surprised if you were too out there. It supposed to be an extreme party. No? They get around at hellfire in that as a norm for some ... And that's just a kinky nightclub.

So Uber is more or less similar to The Chamber and all the other similar events being a bit more out there in relation to the meek n mild hellfire it seems, not that hellfire isn't fun either. Lots of fun for all involved, lookers and participants

I regularly attend UBER and am also an Educator for their BDSM workshops.The party is owned and run by Ms Dee & Mr P who have been on the scene for many years. Ms Dee also owns and co ordinates "The Gathering" which is one of Australasia's biggest BSDM education weekends on the long October Weekend. (of which I will be conducting CBT and Forced Fitness Boot Camp)I highly recommend the play parties and workshops.The parties are more for serious types of play and socializing and it is not at all a nightclub atmosphere and Medium to high protocol applies. The workshops range from entry level to advanced.PM me for details!
