we are the same, unless we're at the beach we prefer to dress, we both like nice clothes and can't see the point in, as you say standing around with your bits hanging out. There are a couple of other posts here both of which we have contributed and there are some interesting comments on the following. "melb swingers bars clubs" We can't say though that we have been able to find what we are looking for but we live in hope

Yes nakedtraveller, it seems the term "swinger" automatically associates you with BDSM, gangbang or being dressed in your underwear (or nothing at all) in front of total strangers. As i stated earlier i am sure there are those who expect and enjoy those types of venues. As for ourselves, we prefer to choose who sees us naked. The term swinger refers to wife-swapping, not BDSM, not dancing naked or being gangbanged. I find it interesting looking at the list of swinger events. Under guest types you quite often find.. Cpls, women, single men, gay. If I'm not mistaken doesnt that cover anybody and everybody.

The club we go to doesnt expect people to undress. Some ladies put on sexy underwear later during the evening if they want to. We used to go to a club where the owner wanted ladies to change to sexy underwear but think that was for his own benefit. shy

Your point taken Capital. I guess the term swinger is a very hard one to categorize. Undoubtedly, you have the hardcore who want to get straight down to business. But yet, we have spoken to a lot of couples who will not attend venues if they have to be in their underwear or naked. Costume or themed venues are ok. You make the statement, "Swingers, and Couples Clubs are different to the normal night club, the atmosphere and nature of the venue is not fully achieved if people are not willing to look, act, and be comfortable, being sexy, you can go to any city night club and stay clothed." The idea is to have a venue where you can meet like minded swingers. You can not do this at any city night club unless arranged with other couples first. Other states apart from Victoria appear to have better organized swinger events, in particular QLD. They don't enforce the G-STRING dress code as we do in Victoria. Fancy that! A venue for swingers where everyone is dressed, like minded, casual and relaxed. No pussy, penis or ass in my face (unless I choose to later)

So our two cents Surely its more fun when everyones dressed and in the mood! you don't have to wear nothing but its more fun if everyone is dressed with "intent". Very very short skirts, yes even a gstring or three, a corset or a sexy lacy bra! boys in tight shirts ..... or no shirts or leather mmmmm now that sounds like a whole lot of fun! says Mrs Looking2try3 Have you been to hell fire ...... now tell us that doesn't put you in the mood thank the gods they dont let you in wearing Jeans and street wear!... no thank Master Tom Our vote goes to the dress bare , dare and stare!!!! lol All in fun!

Interesting topic and one that is probably very individual in terms of ones specific feelings. First things first and we can say that we have never attended a party or function at a swinger venue that did require us to immediately dress sexily or remove all clothes immediately on entry. Instead we have attended functions where the dress was smart casual initially and we could change as the night wore on or we got 'down to business' so to speak. But, I will also say that we have attended a club in Sydney where we were naked and enjoying ourselves in the 'play area' which is designated as 'clothes off/sexy dress' only to find a number of fully clothed people watching, wandering and in some cases outright leering. This absolutely ruined the atmosphere in that area as instead we were made to feel like a freak show for people who seemed to have no interest whatsoever in particpating amongst themselves, even going to the level of commenting. We got up, packed up and left as did one other couple who felt the same. We agree that the idea of forced nudity if wrong as it can make people very uncomfortable as well as intimidate people just as people who are only attending for a perve will intimidate those that do play. Really it depends on each person as to what they want but the venue is also important to any success and with many venues being aimed at specific markets we expect that all tastes should be catered for. As for the theme night parties, totally agree that these are immensely good ways to introduce people as it allows for a light hearted approach but also a sexy one Sheba and Gaz

Here at Couples International we acknowledge comfort and welcome everyone. No dress down here at all. In fact we dont allow Nudity walking around our venue. You can have sex and play anywhere, But you MUST get dressed after and not walk around our venue naked. After all, i dont kow where it has been and I dont want it touching me and neither do others..lol The lifestyle is about choices, and when someone tells you YOU have to do something Re: dress down at a certain time. Your choices are gone.!!!! Bryan and Leesa Couples International

Even the most full on gang bangs I've been to up here you still rock up with neat casual clothes on. In the bedrooms however... So come for a holiday to Brisbane.. or.. as you said, organise your own events.

The swingers club I go to has a dress code and they will not allow entry to the ubderdressed . I usually wear a suit when I go ,always a tie. Plenty of time to take it off later. (you can take my tie off anytime, just dont loose the clip)

At Attunga our dress code is completely optional, people can remain dressed all night if they wish, most people change down in to underwear but the choice remains yours.
