Sunshine Coast = dead zone?

June 07 2018

Hey Following on from copulater2's post about swinging on the Sunny Coast... we were wondering if anyone else found the Sunny Coast a bit of a 'dead zone'? We've amended our profile to say we're from Brissie just to get people to talk to us C x.

Yes for sure! As one guy commented on our post, it's like they have small town syndrome lol. - Posted from rhpmobile

You would think with the amount of people moving to the Coast, either interstate or from overseas it can't stay a Desdzone forever ! - Posted from rhpmobile

Have you attended other parties or Meets and Greets where you get to talk to like minded people? My friends hold a great couples party where l help out serving the drinks and people come from the SC, GC and Brisbane. The Qld Meet and Greet has people travelling from WA, Sydney, Melbourne, Coffs Harbour, Geelong, Newcastle, Cairns and every where in between and so it's not a geographical issue as such. I have been to the Melbourne Meet and Greet where us interstaters are made to feel very welcome. People will travel for a great party. Like who doesn't want to spend the weekend on the Sunny Coast 😃

A meet and greet is a great idea, but unfortunately not something I'm really keen on although Mr SCC would! We're really just purely in it for meeting one person (female!) at a time... You're right though. Lots of people moving here, we actually came from overseas, and it's a great place to live.... strange We'll just keep our profile as living in Brisbane

Replying to the thread about the SC being a dead zone. I’ve not found it difficult to meet people on the Sunshine Coast.

Most people we meet are from south.- north Brisbane area. We see couples from sunny coast but haven’t clicked with anyone like that yet. Would be nice having someone that’s close to caloundra west.

How about being a single male on the sunny coast. I’m new to the scene, very respectful and shy. I would love to make some friends that are into this scene and show me the ropes. But being a single shy guy, I don’t know where to start 😬

Yep....definitely a dead zone, especially if you happen to be a single

Maybe us single shy guys should meet up and bar hop 🤷‍♂️
