Every day he wakes up, walks to the bathroom and looks into the mirror. A simple occurrence, which to most is simply part of routine. But for this soul, it is different. He looks to see who he has become. Not figuratively. Literally. This man, has only a few constants in his life. This man, has a peculiar disorder. Perhaps disorder is the wrong word to use. Every day he wakes up, walks to the bathroom and looks into the mirror. His eyes are the same colour, he is still of tall and lanky appearance - but he is not who was yesterday. Today his jawline protrudes ever so slightly, his nose is twice the size it was yesterday and has a slight hook to it. To his despair, today he is bald. He hates being bald. Let me introduce you to Bradley. A man with peculiar gift. A man who steals for a living. tbc :)

For today is the day the thief maps his prey, Bradley the vessel the shell the vehicle, of such evil has stolen his body ravished his soul. Bradley once toned captain of the team , role model the girls toes curled, when he ran out confident best and fairest, for another year it seamed. Mums and grandmas all over the town knew young Bradley since knee high from that ground. Thick dark hair shoulder length scruffy but so debonaire , Bradley his fiancee queen of the prom, beauty innocence young love ,what could possibly go wrong ? Where is she ? Who is he ? Bradley glares at this stranger who controls the lost soul. For this day its not Bradley its evil has control, its strength his body it will ravish his spirit will destroy the family he loved, his mother and father are losing there boy . Bradley the thief, cheating , deceiving lying to friends caring that offer him hope . As Bradley glares at this monster its not me its not me he yells tormented lost confused now only one choice I hate you!! as he curses the reflection the thief he will be as it reflects right through him another lost soul. Crash !! Bang !! Bradley he jumps startled nervous alone in his derelict apartment at the end of main street out back near the city hall . Footsteps approach the well known apartment no windows no door . Now paranoid guilt floods his thoughts his knees buckle as he drops to the floor, the footsteps get louder as they walk the long hall. - Posted from rhpmobile

i know a hijacker when i see one I get searched every time i go to the airport or events... Apparently i just look suspicious... The group written story is a good idea though, but you'd have to do something about who gets next go since the time delay for posts on the forums can be pretty random... Maybe hand it off to someone in particular and then they pass it on to someone else etc. And yes cognescenti, at least make it bi-weekly or something. I love short stories. I've been reading a lot of 'best of' short story anthologies recently. Oh and since we're on stories, RIP Terry Pratchett, only 66. As a real life Rincewind i will miss your outlook on life, so much like my own.
