  I completely hear you. We struggle to find the appropriate amount of time to get away as well. We have 3 small ones under 5, which means we not only can't just drop and run, but we have to find someone who can either come over and stay the night, or have grandparents look after them. You can't exactly tell the babysitter/parents that you need them to come over and stay so you can go have some play time!!I get worried that people are going to think we aren't genuine, and that we're all talk, but it's just the fact that we may not be able to play except for once a month or so. We definitely aren't time-wasters, just very busy!Anyhow, I'm not sure I've solved anything, except for letting you know, there are more of us out here than you probably realise!!!Cheers!

  I was surprised you didn't get more responses... How did you go with meeting people? Any change? Worked stuff out?I guess it's all about prioritising time! Kids come first.. then play comes when we can find the time :)x

  We have found that by attending RHP sponsored parties we can meet more people in one night than in a few months. It is a great way to increase the odds in your favour. Hope this is of some help, it works for us.

  But I am a father of 3 that drives trucks and share this same conundrum just different scenario. It's usually I get organised a load that will suit, then it rains and I can't get loaded as I load a lot off farms. All you can do is keep trying.

  This is our issue too! We are time poor, with family/work commitments and we'd like there to be some spark and build up, but where do we find the time!?!? All good things come to those who wait, I suppose !?!? Quoting 'Splicey' I wish I knew what the first step was that didn't involve fucking a stranger after a drink

  We all have our own commitments.. And when they pile up, 'tis only expected that you'll have a hard time juggling them! Working a desk job, study, teaching the odd class at the gym and now having my own business is probably the reason why I've been single for the last four years. All you can do is organise things as best you can!
