the rules agreed on either by statement or innuendo. Guessing that night was a simple misunderstanding. I'm guessing he'd downed a few himself ;). You weren't on the same wavelength it sounds to me. Pretty understandable since it sounds like there wasn't much get to know time and what there was, was inebriated. Misunderstandings going to be common in such a spontanious scenario. I presume you discussed it in the morning. Or did you just turf him out? lol There used to be a lot of that sort of fun once but that was way back when going to pubs was fun ;), and i learned how to drink too much... lol

I remember, way back when in my navy days, getting turfed out a few times because the she of the night had to go to work. I either had a day off or was already in trouble. Funny thing about the navy, miss the muster then you may as well miss the day, the punishment not much different. I never regretted it, was worth it, found my way back one way or another ;). Enjoy the music, face the chorus later... lol

Tough one.....general rule is fuck buddies can stay at your disgression. One night stands...generally they should go home however, some of my 'one night stands' have ended up as fuck buddies or more. If it obviously average sex then he should just go home with his tail between his legs (and keep it there!!).

I also remember a few times i was invited to make myself comfortable until she came home from work. Only a couple of occasions i took that opportunity though. Is not the sweetest thing to sit around in a strange place that belongs to someone you hardly know. Just watch tv, not really comfortable exploring her space yet... lol

Shit faced or otherwise high tail it outs the next morning as soon as you wake if at his place. If hes there wake him up and give him his clothes and thank him for the night. no garantee you'll ever see him again. Hopefully you had safe sex......!!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou to everyone who replyed to this post. Many have mentioned Safe Sex... and i think thats common sense. If you can make the judgement to take them home, you can do the same to do it safely. As far as rules go...I think it all comes down to the person ur with and the situation. Obviously if they too were shit faced i wouldnt expect them to drive home. Isn't it called one night stand because they stay over for one night? Sure some would leave afterwards but I would have thought in most cases they are there for the night. Next morning could be round two or could be just thanks for the night see ya later. As for fuck buddies, well it is whatever you want it to be. In some cases it could be they stay over for several nights at a time when convenient. It is whatever you want it to be. As for when you are wasted. Well anything can happen. Don't have the problem myself. If you are gonna get wasted you have no one to blame for anything that happens but yourself. Don't blame the other person for being there in the morning it isnt their fault. Even more so if you are the one that picked up the other person. They probably didn't expect it was going to be a ONS and may have been hoping for more.

I guess for one night stands you just should clear out first thing in the morning. Dunno really there not my thing. Play friends on the other hand, with me I am actually friends with them so I usually hang about for a bit of the morning.

I have 2 simple rules, no cuddles and NO SLEEPOVERS! its cool if u crash out, pass out etc, but if u intend to fall asleep and wake up to me in the morn then u gotta go elsewhere :)

A friend of mine (female) told me the best way to avoid sleepovers is to take them home midweek or Sunday night. NEVER Friday or Sat nights, as this is a sure invitation for the sleepover. If they have to go to work the next day; they prefer to wake up in their own bed.

Hmmm...I have never considered sleep overs an option when swinging, however we have had one ffm and would love to have her back for a sleep over, have talked about already...Girls night out dancing and having fun, then back to Andy for some play, we all crash, he with a gorgeous girl either side of him and we wake up, perhaps play some more then he cooks us breakfast...All three of us like the sound of that! I would not expect to sleep over or would not allow someone to sleep over without invitation to do so first. That invite could come in the moment, I would have to just feel comfortable with the person/s first is all. Mrs Salandy
