Right well, I wanted to have a light and easy topic and wanted to turn something on its side a little. People go on so much about sexy songs, songs that turn them on, songs that make you wanna fuck. But what about songs, that you liked then something totally shit happens to you. Someone says something, a terrible moment in life occurs and that once great song can never be listened to or properly appreciated ever again. That song ruined forever.directly relating to my relationship with Sal herself, these are the two song I can think of off the top of my head. Gotye Hearts-a-mess, because she played me that song and I liked it, then we got busted and it just bring back a time in my life that really, truly sucked. But I do try ever so hard to enjoy it again. Pete Murray - So Beautiful. Because it was played to Salina by her ex husband, and ouch she told me, now I can't listen to it. Urgh nice song too. It is the theme song for a very turbulent time in my life too. If fact the whole JJJ hottest 100 album that contains it is pretty off limits, especially if I am feeling low. It is just too emotive. It's a shame as it is a great song! lovebitten xoxoxoxo

Hi guys, Everybody Hurts by REM is a sad song for me to listen to. Hearing that song brings back strong and not so good emotions from difficult times in my childhood. I have music that I like to listen to that makes me horny, makes me want to dance, helps me when I'm feeling angry or cranky (Lil Jon is a great one for anger...or something heavy, depending on how high my cranky pants are!), that I like to chill to (Bob Marley songs on a rainy day make me wish I was on a warm beach somewhere:-)). I tend to avoid listening to music that makes me feel down or stirs up past emotions and will often change the radio station when those kind of songs come on (especially Everybody Hurts!). And then there are those pesky, annoying songs that I detest but that goes round and round in my head...very annoying:-) It does suck when you have a song you love that you can't listen to! Alina xx

Do the Hussle ! makes me think of homer and marge and we start dancing in the kitchen and laughing. Ruined songs? any old classic with some loser talking over the top of it pretending to be a singer...zzzz

Whenever I listen to: Coheed and Cambria - Mother Superior Coheed and Cambria - The Suffering I can't help but rage. They used to be songs I shared with an ex who treated me like crap. And now whenever I hear them I think of her and get angry. It really sucks because they're (Especially Mother Superior) amazing songs

To Mother Superior Coheed and Cambria as we speak, nice to hear new songs, and it sounds like my cup of tea already, bit of acoustic guitar. Hornysmurf and balls, I can see your point... literally! umm so sexy cock photos :P But are you getting my point? Imagine you love a song, it's great then a shitty thing happens to you, or something is said about the song that ruins it. Not if the song is shit in general. You had to have loved the song. Okay another example. ELO - Living Thing, great song, then I found out it was a preachy song about abortion. Turned me right off. Good Song, if you liked that, you might enjoy 'sky is falling' by Bertie Blackmanor Mowgli's road by marina cheers Andrew
