Yeah i got a request out of the blue. Checked the profile, her "friends" numbered in the sixteen hundreds at that stage.Clearly a girl on a mission.Didn't think she'd miss this old fart .... so politely declined.

A friend request from someone you have never had any contact with,other than the friend request. Yes and I so don’t get that, why? And it’s mainly from guys in my age bracket..why would I befriend someone I haven’t even exchanged an email with… A friend request from someone you have never had any other form of contact with, who's profile is locked. No haven’t had that one.. A person whom you have never had any from of contact with, thinking that you would appreciate an unsolicited abusive message about the contents of your profile. Yes had plenty – like hello..who are you to judge..? again not sure what the problem is there..If I wanted suggestions for improving my profile I would post a forum seeking constructive advice...go figure One thing I totally don’t get and no one has ever enlightened me….I’m on 79 hot lists..thankyou - I am flattered..out of that 79 I have had contact with 2 – yes two of those people…one of them is on my friends list…………why would people put you on their hot list yet never ever contact you ???? Am I missing something here ?…and I mean no contact. No message, no flirt, no public forum posting..nothing – I so don’t get that ?? We both could be missing out on something here

Invariably, their profiles are blocked so I can't look in on them. It's a good thing that I'm perverse enough to be gratified by these messages.

You should see my box (inbox- you cheeky sod) at the mo...its overflowing.... about 70 percent supportive of forum posts which is lovely that people take the time to write....but yeah 30 percent hate mail cause you dare to have a different opinion...funny Im not forcing my opinion or beliefs onto anyone, just writing on a public forum..... but you know so easy to criticise when one hasnt experienced your story,,I knw your hearing me Jensman :) and then there are the people that you have met offline or have contacted you and want to meet....its not succesful or you say no for whatever reasons... so they chose the forums as a way to have a shot at you - which only reinforces you were correct in your initial rejection of them You seriously cant please anyone in this world but yourself...ah well

Count that, one! flirt from a random person in the 2 months I've been on this site haha. Somehow I have someone who has me on their hotlist that I have never even spoken to and either has me on block or is invisible, intriguing! I have, to my recollection, had 2 unsolicited emails from seperate people in support of a forum post or two. I'd be happy to get an abusive email or 2 just so I could double my strike rate haha. Most of my emails are from people I've met offline and all bar one are people I have messaged first.

You're right Freya13 . Some people confuse this with FaceBook . They collect any Friend they can to make them appear to be popular. I've spoken to another RHP member & she said that lots of Friends on your Profile is actually a turn-off for her. Just how Genuine are these Friend Collectors ? Do they ever plan to actually meet someone on this Site ? Or is it all just a big ego rub for them ?- Posted from rhpmobile

I got one of those "You're hot what do you think of me" flirts the other day, when I looked at the guy's profile he states in there more than once so you can't miss it that he's found the woman of his dreams and is no longer looking for anyone else. Naturally my mind wonders, well why are you still sending flirts to other women then?? And there is definitely no existing RHP flirt for me to send back, that correctly conveys what I think of him .

I watch the forums and when I like the comments I add people to follow their comments. My profile is closed so I don't get new contacts. Have all I need on the dance card just now. Hope that explains the randomness. Hot diggety damm....and I would have sent you a personal message if you weren't unavailable.

Quoting 'Luckdragon23' I got one of those "You're hot what do you think of me" flirts the other day...OH that particular FLIRT annoys the crap out of me...I look at the flirt like this.. They are giving a compliment on a certain profile and then they want validation about theirs.If they really liked what they have on their profile why would they have ask??????Hummm is it a Profile Feedback Flirt????

Often this particular flirt comes from people not unticking the box under the hot bar when rating the hot or what pics - its automatically sent. High chace they have event looked further than your main pic - take that as a compliment as it means they have rated you higher than a 3 lol Hot list - I too use it to see what some of those I enjoy reading on the forums are up to...it also can be used to see when people have updated their profile and any pic watchers can then see if you have uploaded any new pics. yea we have had all 3..... the friend requests from strangers who we'd never had contact with... flirts from locked profiles... etc etc we had some not so nice messages from a few on the site, about the pics we posted, both on our profile...and in the amateur pics are... seems there were a couple of people who thought that we were fakes, and that the pics had been stolen from elsewhere... the out of the blue messages that read like answers to questions......that we'd never asked lol

Friends requests without any other contact, sometimes the person is an obvious friend collector. Regardless, unless we've had communication I won't add anyone. Flirts and messages from people with locked profiles, in fact one guy sent me one or two a week for a few weeks. Never did open his profile. So far no abusive emails about comments in the forums. I had one polite one from someone saying they disagreed with me. Not now but when I was on previously was on quite a few hot lists of guys who never made contact. I tend not to add anyone to hotlist as I don't really want to know every time they come online.

I have had many friend requests from people I have not had any interaction with, but only people I know get that privilege...lol. I think some people think that if they are in your friends list it somehow gives them cred and opens up more exposure/opportunity for them to meet your other friends or people who view your profile.

Well while I haven’t had any friend requests from strangers (I guess even friend collectors have standards lol) or emails telling me about all my problems with my profile, I have in the past received many flirts from profiles that "never were". I would give them a good chance as I know sometimes I'm on sending a msg or two and just before logging out I have a quick look at my profile and found myself thinking 'that profile is soooo yesterday and I just have to edit it'... Opps look at that its now locked. But when you come back a week later and its still locked... well that’s a "never were"... As for people adding you to hot lists... or short lists... I am along the same mind as Lost and Who... I will add people to my hot list (or short list depending which one my mouse is closer to) that I was either interested in what they wrote on a forum post or someone I would be interested in contacting when I have time to sit down and write a half legible email to...
