Poly terminology needed

Ok, So recently I have been thinking there must be a term out there for this - Quite a few times The one that's coming to mind tonight is: What is is called when you think you've told your partner something important, but realise awkwardly that it was a different partner. If the term doesn't exist then its about time it does. I've adopted the word compersion and metamour into my vocabulary this year but I haven't come across a term for this one yet. Any other words we need to create?

Hmmm well if your with the other partner what comes to me is "Out of sight out of mind" seems rough right :/ Personally I prefer a "Temporary Mental Lapse" As I have a terrible memory I often use "That bloody dementia is back" or joking "should have been there" Related to me again....'those darn bubbles" (alcohol) I doubt there's a word (would love the smart ones to come up with one) even a phrase for this situation but there certainly is plenty of excuses.

...as complex as you want it to be? Mimpathy. Albeit there is no suffering or struggling involved we are so often quaint with the negative that we can see just how high is up...up...and away. My greatest loves are multiple and ongoing and..... ask me if you are curious. ʗɱ

Opart syndrome is the medical term for it. Previously known as Other Partner Syndrome but they shortened it when nosey orderlies and tea ladies read the charts and gave the patients knowing looks, asking if they could have a “go” “ while you’re hospitalised “.
