Pets and hosting

Just wondering, surely there are quite a few dog owners (like myself) out there on sites like these. Has anyone hosted someone (or been the visitor) in a situation where one or both party's four legged friends are also welcome to stay the day/night as well? I've been lucky enough once in the past to stay over somewhere with a lady where we both had dogs, so they can play while the adults are playing!
