August 19 2009

Hi everyone, we're needing some imput (from those more experienced) on etiquette for small, private swingers parties, eg, how to make interest known, how to say no politely, etc.

" hello. would you like to shag my wife" is one of the best introductions I ever heard at one of those parties. As for classic knockbacks.... I've never experienced one that left me feeling pleased.

Hi Ya, As far as we're aware the main golden rule of etiquette for any swinging occassion is no means no, not "well no for now, but try again when I've had a few more drinks" As for learning about what a prospective partners desires are, we have always found asking a question such as, "what are you into?" has a good chance of bringing the conversation around to sex. Generally the same rules of socialising at a party apply to swinging parties, if you don't talk to someone, and at least make the effort to get to know them, don't expect them to sleep with you. We also have found polite excuses for no include, I'm sorry but you're not my type, or, I'm afraid you're not what I'm looking for, preferably preceeded with a comment such as, I'm very flattered, but! Generally we've found it best to be ourselves and just enjoy meeting people and getting to know them, if anything happens later, well then thats a bonus. Hope this helps, Regards Shagbunnies

Hi guys .. at small parties it is invariably tougher to say no. If you make an effort to approach and chat to someone smiling they will know you are interested. After all.. thats why people are there. Of course they then have to say no if not interested in you lolWe usually will politely chat for a short while and then excuse ourselves to chat to someone else or head to the bathroom or something .. people usually get the message you arent interested
