Hey sun-kissed, from within the confines of the end of a struggling relationship, I found an outlet in a new hobby, and threw myself into it like a mad professor, having it occupy my every waking thought. I found a forum, and realized I wasn't the only one who felt driven to try everything & anything related to it, there was a whole community of supportive & like minded nutters. What appealed to me was the support and encouragement of the community towards newbies, and the absolute inspiration from genius level legends who not only strutted their stuff, but shared their knowledge of technicalities and intricacies freely for others to learn. I checked in about 5 times a day for 2 years, developed a rep as my skills grew in my chosen area, got asked to become a mod, but it didnt stop there. I found forums for other interests as well, each an outlet and exploration into new realms. Now I am a single man, have found another outlet for my sometimes prolific verbosities right here on RHP. I think that makes a total of about 6 forums. Oh, my morning coffee. I should get up and do some yoga, but I don't. Addicted.

saving more money, it goes against what I believe, however I'm becoming quite adept at it.Not real sure how long this latest compulsion will last though.I've always saved however am finding between $100 or $150 extra a week at present.

Quoting 'Kaleidoscope' Text books Novels Non fiction Sigh.......4 bookcases and counting....AND don't you date suggest I convert to digital!- Posted from rhpmobile Someone else who still does real books!! Reading an electronic version just isn't the same, I still buy the majority of books in the old fashioned format...even text books when there is a choice. I don't know what it is but I seem to take the info in better when it's on a real page.

I prefer to list the things I am not addicted to, that list is shorter and striving to reduce it every day. Not into chocolate, could easily live life without it. Think thats about it.

Didn't help that my mum used to work for a publisher. (Only 4 bookcases!!!) I have happily embraced my Kindle though, it's a 'space' thing.

Thing about wearing a suit and business shirt to work is getting rid of buttons and having the local clothes repairer replace with Velcro. Also on shoes, underwear, pencil cases, you name it. Especially if the shirt is nice slippery nylon. Apart from that books, of course, and some in paper, some on the ipad. Invective, disdain, sarcasm and scorn. Swearing at other drivers when I am alone in car. Or not alone. Dim sum. Tabasco on eggs. Did I say Velcro?

with response to your chocolate addiction, I may be able to help there. Chocolate cravings are usually a sign of magnesium deficiency, so if you take a strong magnesium suppliment (with just magnesium only in it), you will find the cravings lessen :)

I used to count things all the time. All. The. Time. Parts of people's eyes. Steps across a piece of pavement. Windows, including frames, curtains, reflections. All kinds of shit! It wasn't necessarily harmful but it got to be very very distracting. So I had to make myself stop doing it ALL the time. I still catch myself doing it sometimes though. Weird!x Me

My obsession or even addiction is taking girls out shopping! I really like letting try on different clothes and come out of the change room to parade. Even better is to be invited into the change room and watch outfit after outfit being modeled. I like shoe shopping in the same way. An expensive hobby and I know I need to curb it but life is too short!! Shooger

Surfings mine.... when the swells up n its barrelling of its tits, I'm out there. The lure of that perfect wave sucking me in time after time! Everything else gets pushed aside, work , family and friends all get chucked in the bin for my couple of hours of pleasure. Selfish I know, at least its a healthy addiction! The only thing that saves me is I work for myself, I've got understanding clients and live in an area with world class waves :) yeeeeooowww I'm going for a wave... catch yas later
