Lies, damned lies and then statistics, Benjamin Disraeli (Former English PM)It all depends on the core group from which they took the survey. Ie- were they over the age of 50?, what country was it taken in etc etc..The 80% kiss goodnight overall would be hard to believe.

But its usally someone elses husband ok ok dont get your panties in a twist, it was a joke! I say good night you old fart to my husband, he goes to his bedroom and me to mine. aint love grand but I do tell him every day that I love him, and I thank him for all the acts of kindness , and the work he does around the house and for working his arse of to support me.

we begin the day with a kiss and an 'i love you'......finish the day with the same.....in between, its said and shown, multiple times over, by both of us....we see that others around us dont do the same....but hey, our 'normal' suits us...sloppy, sentimental lovesick fools that we are.....

I`m with you on that! I too sure as heck ain't going down that path again... One thing I always make sure I do is "THANK" and kiss goodnight those who I bed with... LOL its not that many.... I've had some that go "Wow" cause they've never had that said to them- they are lost for words.... Sad but true!! I can't sleep well if we haven't kissed goodnight - even if I've worn myself out in a fit of passion beforehand. Together 19 years in June and the man is still the love of my life. We kiss whenever we can just because we can (and because it makes the kids squirm ...ewwww, Mum!). And our actions show each other every day that we love each other. Finally something I can boast about being in the top 10-20% for :) I've never fallen asleep next to a partner/lover without a kiss and words of kindness (thankyou or I love you etc etc). (is it weird to kiss your pillow and tell it you love it?) It is all free... costs nothing... takes only a few minutes and lets the other person know you care. Also agree that polls and statistics are 99% guff because of the limited scope... include questions like this in the next census and maybe they could be better believed. (wait... did I just do myself out of a percentile boast... bugger! :S)
