Well, Mr. & Mrs. P :P, apart from my Body Shot fave, which you already know ;-), I like a “negroni sbagliato”. It’s different from a normal Negroni in that the gin is replaced by champagne. Excellent for an "aperitivo" :P Ingredients -ice cubes -few drops of angostura (optional) -1/3 champagne -1/3 Martini Rosso -1/3 Bitter Campari -half slice of orange

Liking the sound of that Sophie. I tried the jaggerbomb for the first time last weekend, better than I expected it to be, really quite liked it. Have to say though I am a fan of a good old fashioned Margherita and I am also a fan of sangria, a great way to drink red wine in the summer months. Andy is always a fan of a corona and lime....must be lime not lemon :) and he was the one that introduced me to sangria. xx Sal

Well the 21st was on Saturday.. a 100 litres of beer, 56 litres of vodka dacquiri slushies, 1 doz bottles champaign, 24 bottles of wine... softdrinks..... Late in the night when all the beer, dacquiri mix and champaign had gone I started making wine and fruit juice slushies... but when the fruit juice ran out... I did this.... Half a glass of chardonnay 1/4 glass of soda water 1/4 glass of fanta Ice Garnish with slice of orange Straw Now.. as sickly as that sounds.... at 4am in the morning all teh kids were lining up to get the GazBar special, so I had a sample of it myself and you know what? It tastes pretty bloody good! Hugs Gazza

i recently saw some theatre. "the history of drinking". as part of the performance you got asked questions, if you answered you got to choose a drink from the menu and the performer told/acted a piece to go with the drink.i had a rusty nail.50-50 drambuie and good scotch i think. i quite liked it. it was new for me as i'm not a cocktail drinkerthe question i answered was what was the flavouring in gin.the performance was great. i belive it's sold out for the season, but incase it re-runs go and check it.LRE (<0.05)

Heya Ms Sophie, ya know I luvs ya body... shot ;-) We'll be checking that recipe out for sure... been trying to find a use for that Campari lol. Just have to buy some Martini Rosso hehehe, we've got the angostura, no 'lemon, lime bitters' drinks without it. I'll post the recipe we invented for the Campari, later after Mr P gets home lol...For those that would like to make 'lemon, lime and bitters' which is a non-alcoholic drink. Bitters is 44.7% alcohol but you only use a few drops... Place cubes ice in long glass, swirl angostura bitters round quickly so it coats the inside of the glass. Pour lemonade to near top of glass (watching out for bitters frothing up as you go) and add lime cordial to taste... yummm... Hi there Sal... I reckon the bomb is the bomb hahaha but as a regular drink we favour Carlton midstrength in the interests of not making ourselves blotto lol. But like Andy, Mr P is a fan of Corona and lime... agreed that lemon is not at all the same and we like our beers icy COLD, the only way to go. I had an ex who introduced me to Sangria sold in a flagon looong before I met Mr P lol. Very fruity and good for mixing to take some of the kick out of it hehehe.Lol 2b... thanks for sharing! We're planning on stocking up our bar again in the next few months and grapefruit vodka will be there. It'll give me an excuse to but one of those beautiful bottles the flavoured vodkas come in. I dunno if I want to be nice enough to actually get back to you guys later tho... nah only kidding... I was planning on it hehehe. And thanks for reminding me... we keep the Jaeger for the bombs in the freezer and make sure the Bull is really chilled! WOOHOO! The things this drink does to the senses :-PEeeewww Gaz pmsl... the things we resort to when the bar starts running down huh? We've been there... and we'll be sure to check out your recipe. Chardonnay is our wine of choice, so we're off to a good start there. I remember helping a friend hold a 21st. We planned this brilliant punch where everyone donated a bottle of spirits and we marinated the fruit overnight before adding juices, wine etc. Someone turned up with a huge bladder (like from a cask but this was about 10 ltrs) of what we thought was wine which we promptly poured into the garbage bin (new) of punch... only to discover it was 'lemon squash concentrate'. Eeewww talk about pucker up... we were drinking it for a week after the party and bottling it up to give away... *Sigh*Well LRE... that sounds like a lot of fun... fill the mind with fascinating facts and tantalise the taste buds with new sensations... I'm not surprised it's sold out for the season... We've enjoyed dinner theatre in the past and that was a lot of fun... there used to be a medieval themed place in Wembley that we went to in the past for a work do and I remember another one in Highgate that I'm sure is long gone. And finally for now, beautiful MissBJ... shots of Jaeger sure would save a lot of time lol. I'm a decaf coffee drinker tho and I sure love the rush I get out of the guarana in that Bull woohoo!!! Vanilla vodka looks like another opportunity for me to score one of those gorgeous bottles. I remember seeing the most beautiful bottles of vodka at 1st Choice in Midland, they had a tube of Swarovski crystals running down the centre. Mr P was going to buy me one for my birthday last year but ALL of the bottles sold at once and we so missed out!Ah well...as BJ said...Bottoms up you lot!Mrs Peachy :-*

I heard that Jaegerbombs have also been banned in Perth... everything in moderation is the key... there will always be people that take it too far and ruin it for everyone else.A funny story... It wasn't too long ago that friends of ours ordered Jaegerbombs while they were at the Casino... and the red bull arrived with ice to the top, so there was no hope of drinking it as a bomb... they're so glad I wasn't there... I woulda dug the ice out and dumped it on the bar to make my bomb The drink that was in when I worked as a barperson in my younger years before I met Mr P was... 'Tequila Slammers'. Simply put a shot of tequila in a shot glass & add a dash of lemonade... the drinker then puts their hand over the glass and 'slams' it on the bar before knocking it back...Cheers RHPeersPS: Has anyone got any other salutes? MissBJ's bottoms up was goood!!!For the Jaeger bombs... Mr P likes to say bombs away but I don't like violence lolol and say hip hip hooray

Sounds rather intriguing actually and at least we won't have to buy another bottle of spirits or the Fanta to make it to try considering it is already on our list after MissBJ's suggestion hehehe and Gaz's concoction... too easy! Crisp white wine... chilled.... with lunch yummm... that's only a cpl of hours away and... It is 5 o'clock somewhere Thank you Kilee and everyone else! Mr P is keeping up with all our posts at the end of his long days and reminded me last night to mention our fav Strawberry wine yummm (I will get that Campari recipe I mentioned above off him at some point)... he was in the shop buying it recently and had another lady who was looking for strawberry wine ask him about it, so she bought one. Then they went to the desk to pay, still talking, where another customer heard them and decided she had to buy one and before he left the cashier herself announced she'd be trying it n all. Man, do you think it was just that they were all girls... can't send him anywhere lately... he was with grandson the other day and mistaken for parent as usual (just as well I'm mistaken for the other parent ;-)) and the woman guessed his age as 34 or was it 24! Anyway the strawberry wine hehehe is... Fresita, available from at least Woolies and BWS, it has real strawberries in it for the flavour and it doesn't hurt to add strawberries to your drink for added flavour and the pleasure of marinated strawberries if you can wait to eat them till trhe end. Bottoms up!Mrs P on behalf of Mr P

The 'Birthday Paradox' states that if there are 23 people or more in a room then there is more than a 50% chance at least 2 of them have the same birthday. For 60 or more people, the probability is greater than 99%. I've wished Sophie a happy birthday on her 3 thread and would now also like to wish Mr Peachy a very Happy Birthday today lolHappy Birthday Honey!!! It'll be my pleasure to share your birthday today and every other day :-*Huge hugs and kisses from me, your Mrs Peachy... today we're gonna celebrate!!!

Nothing wrong with extremes Mrs P ! (the quinine in the tonic water is also fabulous for the muscle cramps and spasms that often come with the dehydration hangover from extreme intake of alcoholic beverages.....lol ..) Belated "hip hips' to Mr P cheers and bottoms up! ic
