although sometimes i view my own profile and click on the forum posts i have replied to to see what other posts are there.Sometimes they arent on page 1 anymore....but rarely!Mwas!!BJxxx

Well this post has almost hit the bottom of page 1 pmsl so I guess I better post on it and bring it back up before it disappears... maybe forever!trishl... I luv your pics and particularly favour your main profile pic ;-)... it's looks like it's gonna take some time to reach pg 69 in any of the forums (WA Hot Topics has 58 pages but it's moving real slow in there lol). The All States 'Hot Topics' have added at least 10 pages since the change over to the new site, so it looks like that might reach the magic pg 69 incredibly soon.naughty sweet... you sooo flatter me and I thank you for it, I keep an eye out for yours n all! You can be very naughty and incredibly entertaining! Why Hi Gaz... fancy seeing you here!. You have one of the most imaginative minds I have ever had the honor of experiencing and it is indeed a joy to experience... so I am not too surprised you find plenty to pick from on pg 1. Quavery hugs horny old fella... from this ornery old bird Hey hey MissBJ and Sophie... thank you very muchly for that, I think I answer too many forums to rely on the clicking on my own profile anymore lol and with the forums turning over as fast as they do these days... it can be a case of here today, gone tomorrow, so I check to the beginning of the day before for posts that were waiting for moderating. When I want to remember to go back to a topic in particular, I'll save the http in my templates which gives me the name of the thread and I don't have to look for it if I want to post again and I can edit the template at my leisure without pc timing out on me. Mwahs both of ya! :-* Lol 2b... it seems likely to me that most stick to the 1st page and sometimes you'll get those like me who'll dig up old posts for some reason which I've been doing today and I think what will most often happen when older posts pop back up is that it is people new to the forums who've been having a look around It seems the only thing to do if you want your post to stay on pg 1 for more than one day is to post on one of the other forums instead of Hot Topics... When I want to remember to go back to a topic in particular, I'll save the http in my templates which gives me the name of the thread and I don't have to look for it if I want to post again and I can edit the template at my leisure without pc timing out on me I was wondering how you always have the threads at the tip of your fingertips!!! Now I know! :P xxx

Usually page one only except for anything i have posted on to see if anyone has added anything. The only time i have really gone back over old posts is when I haven't been on here for a while and I want to catch up!!

What wouldn't I give for a word/name search function lolol... I've also been known to save the http from the threads RHPers start on the notepad on their profile... Lolol Nev, thanks for that, I guess if nothing else I can be happy this thread has taught someone something new Cheers n hugs allMrs P

And for what it is worth, unless something jumps out at me, then i view them in this order, HOT TOPICS, GUYS ASK, GIRLS ASK, COUPLES CORNER, SECRET WOMENS BUSINESS. I usually find hot topics and guys ask the most entertaining or interesting but of course there are other times when i find posts in the other sections which are just as entertaining or interesting.

I've got to agree with you on the order of interest lol... and depending on the day I often try to leave the best for last That kinda leads in to the next question I thought to ask on the topic of forum reading which is... Does anyone use the Recent and Active topic links at the top of the main page... EVER?I've found the Recent links useful for keeping an eye on the most recently posted topics but only tend to use the Active topic links for topics I am following.Thnx to any and all who have or will take the time to satisfy my curiousity!Cheers allHope you're all having a wonderful day!Mrs Peachy

I rarely go past page one, I mostly just open a new tab for each sub-forum and then do the same with any threads with new replies. I don't often bother with the links at the top of the page.

When I am all alone (which is most of the week) i tend to go thru all the forums, especially reading new comments to old posts!!

I wish some people would go past page 1, at least that way they wouldn't post topics that have already been covered heaps of times before. Perhaps RHP should program a search facility for topics so that people could look up whether it's already been posted or not. Or perhaps I shouldn't hang around the forums all the time that I notice these days how there's so many repeats of the same questions over and over again. But, it's the most interesting part of RHP in my opinion.

Loved your post! It ties in with a lot of what goes thru my mind on a regular basis about the forums. I very rarely posted our first year or so on RHP and only started one thread in that time that I made sure hadn't been posted before lol. A lot easier then of course too considering the forums were a lot quieter. I'm pretty sure I haven't doubled up on a topic in the time since then tho people have doubled up on mine lol I couldn't agree with you more about the possibility of a search facility considering the plethora of threads on a theme, some started within days of each other AND still on page 1. I wonder if people new to the forums take any time to familiarise themselves before jumping in with both feet.And then there is the possibility that like yourself perhaps I shouldn't hang around the forums all the time that I notice these days how there's so many repeats of the same questions over and over again And finally without the forums, I wouldn't spend a fraction of the time that I do on RHP or have the sense of community that I feel here Thnx... hugs... I was just mourning the demise of another thread lol and now I am again revitalised... I couldn't agree with you more that RHPers are a great bunch, the last few weeks have been a real getting to know each other journey after the forums were revitalised by changes made during RHP's new site upgrade a few months ago... it's been a heady experience to say the least... there's some threads not too deep in the different forums that are real classics lol CheersMrs P
