The day could be shitty, the car brakes down you loose your purse you have to walk home. A sexy stranger pulls up to help and he fucks me silly and all my worries are gone. Can't say about the being uptight, but I often get grumpy if I have to go without sex for a few days if for some reason our work or socials etc get in the way.... But it is also normally followed by great sex and smiles all around!!!(MR)

Sometimes sadness, stress, anxiety or anger can actually dampen the libido. Certainly for me, when 'things' aren't going according to plan and I become generally anxious, the last thing on my mind is sex. Maybe it shouldn't be that way, but it's how it is for both Mr and I.What's important though is we're self aware enough to recognise this and understand that it's a little blip and things will get back to normal soon enough.I just can't get sexy when I'm grumpy!Not having sex doesn't make me grumpy but I definitely miss the connection and always feel better after.IAT

grumpy for 'lack of sex'? really? i get grumpy....and its never never about sex..... sex may help to alleviate the syptoms of grumpiness...but its a short term fix..if the issue that brought on the grumps hasnt gone away....it doesnt take long for them to return.

I have a stressful job and a lot has happened in my life over the last 3-4 years which has made me re-evaluate many things but I have found two things make a big difference; one is two smile and say hi to people just not stand there like strangers, whether it is in the lift, bus,e etc it makes a huge difference. The second is exercise and I am not talking about the most obvious horizontal exercise.Everyday I make sure that I do something which is a positive.I have to say though recently something happened which was intimate but the not whole way which I was fine with that made me realize that I had been missing the touch and feel of another person as a caressed them. It was like a light bulb going on.I think that is why I am here.
