GETTING MARRIED

June 09 2011

Finally after 7 years of single life i am going to try for the 4th time another marriage. But i have a question, being in Melbourne and its firking cold at the moment, but i got the idea to wear a kilt, being from the isle of man it apparently allows me to do so, cant find the right tartan however, but who would know anyway. The QUESTION IS, should you wear a pair of shorts under the kilt. ? i have become an avid fan of the forums here, and search for certain peoples replies, ruby blossom, stalky in particular, all seem to be articulate and intelligent people. hahah even im laughing now, no offence meant. just thinking of me in the kilt. The other day an old guy came into my non toxic paint shop, he said he needed help as he wanted to paint his house as it was coming upto his 50th wedding anniversary. Finding this interesting i asked him whats the secret to a long lasting marriage for 50 years, he replied in his broad greek accent, its bloody simple mate... when we got married, i took the wife back to greece to see her mother, now after 50 years i go to pick her up. so if any good jokes i can tell at the wedding i would love to hear thanks forum a connoiseur on wedding cakes too .

People often ask me "Is anything worn under the kilt?" "No" I say "Everthing is in perfect working order!"Traditionally, underwear is not worn under a kilt but if you insist on wearing something to stop your wedding tackle dangling in the cold wind I suggest you wear black or the main colour of the tartan you eventually wear. Isle of Man national tartan is mainly bottle green and light blue but the heritage tartan is mainly red. Or you could look up your clan tartan and wear that. But NO SHORTS please!!

Is worn under the kilt. However, for the sake of propiety I would suggest some underwear as you are bound to have people like me who sneak thier hand up just to see.

I had the privelege of having a gorgeous friend throughout my final year of highschool who did (and still does) strongly identify with his Scottish heritage....he wore a kilt to our formal and wore nothing underneath (yes I checked...lol) however he would get very cranky with you if you wore something underneath..he too got married in a kilt and i have it on good authroity he again wore nothing underneath (his wife tells me so) Stuff proprietry and go with tradition - besides if anyone does check it wil be a very nice surprise on their behalf . I think it is tradition to be free in the wind under the kilt...isnt the sporran meant to hold the kilt down over your manly bits?If you do feel the need to wear underwear.....why not have some fun and wear some female white virginal frilly pantiesthere goes my articulate and intelligent answers.....lololAs far a jokes go....you can steal one I stole for my Levity post now relegated to page 5.......Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." . . .......They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals. Have a fabulous day.....and remember, we want to know what you decided to wear on the big day!

Last man in a kilt that I rubbed up against worse nothing but his bagpipes under there. I could only manage a squeek out of them though before he dashed off to do some river dancing. For your wedding I recommend you wear a key chain under there with a picture of me attached. :p Let's not mention what do you keep in the sporran! I mean... three or four 100Mg Viagra, some warming gel, a small bullet vibrator... 12 condoms.... a tube of Vetex for that sore mongrel you're going to get later.... I mean you can fit a whole honeymoon survival kit in there bro!!Can't wait for the photos! I hope you have a wonderful day.HugsStalky

thanks so much for your concern, much appreciated, what on earth happened to the furniture stalky????? two of us wore Kilts, my son and i, have to admit he looked so much better in his than i did. he however was more reserved and took the option to not be a real man, where as i, who does not usually wear a frock, was happy to be naturale, and let it swing. only one guest a female asked if i was in fact wearing anything under the kilt, this was done whilst having dinner and i made the move to stand up and moon her, when i was quickly pulled back down to my chair, haha funny. lots of john smith and tetelys english beer was drunk which was also great. will get some pics up soon
