Freah Meat

December 20 2012

We were talking recently with a friend who knows a lot about the party and swingers scene. They mentioned players who leap on the 'fresh meat'. It got me thinking as I think I actually prefer revisiting a new friend once I have a bit of an understanding of their interests and style, I can see that some might like the freshness of a first and only time, and I guess there are the bedpost notchers who see it as a sport.   I doubt anyone who really sees others as fresh meat would pipe up and declare it here but I was wondering how others saw this kind of mentality, and about your past experiences, personal preferences, 2 cents etc.   Personally I don't like to be used in anyway which leaves me feeling hollow and knowing someone had this mentality would be a huge turn off...

I don't see anyone as meat, only as a potential friend/lover/etc, however It's only logical to move on to the next/newest person if you have been rejected/ignored or have already played and decided you don't want an encore or maybe your dance card isn't full enough. Who knows? No doubt there are always the notchers and people who just love a shiny new plaything, but maybe it goes deeper than that? Maybe they like experiencing the newbies before they become cynical and jaded, or maybe they get off on being the one to introduce shy newbies into the fold?

Paradisepair, the term is not very nice that is true but what they probably meant was they pounce on new people because often the swingers scene can be relatively small and if you go to the same parties or clubs after awhile you get to know most of the people. So new people are exciting. ;-)
