I maintain the fault was with the eggs - they were all cracked.

Of course all that's very sweet but being a very primative primal primate...here's a thought and a few recipes. | Take her by the hand to the kitchen the lift her up on the bench and sit her down gently. Reach over and grab a large brandy snifter and fill about 1/3rd of the way up with Gran Mariner and swirl in the glass. Carefully ignite the liqueur...the blue flame will fill the air with an amazing aroma then blow it out and immediately take a piece of dark Belgian chocolate and press down over the rim. The chocolate will melt and trail down the glass before reaching that perfect temperature to just stay there then hand that to her. | Now then, pour yourself a couple of fingers of vintage scotch and let her watch you cook...blackened redfish Cajun style with dirty rice and cornbread or even something as simple as a chicken marsala with rendered mushrooms. Want to guess what's for dessert? And the next morning when you have to be up early...let her sleep and leave a single rose on the pillow with a note saying "Thanks...see you tonight". | Try that about once a week and repeat 52 weeks a year...we all like to know we are appreciated and besides, you never have to worry about what's for dessert. You can even have that right there at the same table...or retire to the bedroom if you like. | ...seems to work even if you just like being happily single together.

We have been together 19 years (time flies). Think it is very important to have some hobbies/interests of your own as well. Some time of your own that relaxes you and recharges the batteries.I think that it then also adds an even more positive spin when you get back to normal life and sharing time with wife/partner,family and work.Mine is a bit of camping and restoring classic cars but it doesn't matter what it is.It could be jogging,reading,golf-anything at all.
