I'm sitting here watching "old"music on TV, and it made start to think, "what is my most favourite song of all time"? One that no matter how much you hear it you never get sick of it. My is "In the Air Tonight", Phil Collins, love it Love to hear other favourites

I agree, it is hard to maybe pick just one, so many great musicians, Eric Clapton, Santana, Eagles, George Benson, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Gary Moore, etc, but whenever I hear Phil Collins it just brings a smile to my face.

More than a feeling - BOSTON Very, very catchy and with an "Epic" sound to it. Even better is to hear it with the live video clip…it's on Youtube( is there anything not on Youtube? ).Rock stars with handlebar moustaches, wearing sequinned jumpsuits.Very cool...

Use too throw a party every couple of months, A Quarter acre block in North Manly would fill with people laughter all night, Dad had a good collection of records DireStraights, Men at Work, Rod Stewart, Bushwhackers, Billy Joel, Steel eye Span, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The little river Band, Phill collins Genesis, Roger Whitaker, Pual Simon, Boney M, Cream, Tina Turner, John Farnham, Stevie Wonder, Blondie, cher, Micheal Jackson, Fleetwood Mack, Ice House, Dragon, Meatloaf heaps more. Water of love Dire straights was one fav Dreams of Ordinary Men had a time Nothing Compares to You Sinead O'Connor saw me through a break up, thank fuck ( breakup) Drum Solo off the Deep purple live in Japan started something to today Sailing Rod Stewart walked the beach many days, waiting for Tara it was. Meatloaf I Would Do Anything For Love helped to the realities (feet on the ground) I didn't do that either, no I won't do that, we can do it together. I think my favourite song goes to all the times it set the atmosphere to the mood of those parties, ones we have had aswell. House Of The Rising Sun Santa Esmarelda, 18 minutes was along song, and it means more than the Animals original, to me. Let The Cane Fields Burn Graham Conners Dear Mr President Pink Stewie RedGum (kidding) All You zombies Hooters Is way up there with no1 Tara is not only fixated with Blindmans arse, Beat So Lonely Charlie Sexton (Don't Look Back) is a good one too. But all have to be above 60 decibels and hard to beat the sound of a twin channel valve amp pre amp combo 50 watts costs about 6000 bucks and 50 watts is different than circuit amp hi fi home theatre stuff. 500, 600 watt each side eqivilent volumes, nothing on filling the air though with clarity. All on it's own for listening to the music. Louder the clearer, gets the valves glowing nice and hot. Mado Tara xx

When I first heard Bob Dylan's "Idiot Wind", I was exhausted by the end of it, and emotionally bombshelled. It was devastating. The man had lived a thousand lives and gone through a plethora of emotions from pain, anger, bitterness, resentment, sadness, remorse, and acceptance. It was enough for even Allen Ginsberg to wax lyrical about. "I've been double crossed now, for the very last time and now I'm finally free. I kissed goodbye the howling beast on the borderline that separated you from me. And you'll never know the hurt I've suffered, nor the pain I rise above. And I'll never know the same about you, your holiness, or your kind of love. And it makes me feel so sorry". I couldn't stop pressing repeat, driven by horror and disbelief. Till now, this song has remained untouched.... Right up until I heard Garreth Liddiard (from The Drones) sing "Did She Scare All Your Friends Away". Pure. Fucking. Genius. Apart from those two wrist slashers, the themesong from Babe rates pretty highly. "If I had words to make a day for you, I'd sing you a morning golden and new. I would make this day last for all time, sing you a night filled with moonshine" 😀

It's playing everyday in my house, car at work it's a constant. It can see me through any mood and change my mood to. But my all time favorite song that I could have on repeat is Flame tress By cold chisel That song instantly transports me to a time and place and a memory of being "home" to our little country town and walking down the Main Street and people stopping me and saying "you're Brian an Sue's daughter" I didn't grow up there but my dad made a name for himself playing football and I guess I look enough like him to be recognized. So many songs all woven into the sound track of my life. - Posted from rhpmobile

Well I always liked Australian music such as Cold Chisel, Mondo Rock, Mental as Anything, Australian Crawl, Kate Cebrano, Split Enz (okay and NZ), and my all time favourite INXS. I was so in love with Michael Hutchence.... I know I will watch the new show about him coming up but I am a bit weary too.... nobody can ever be like Michael. Some of my favourites Reckless by Australian Crawl I Got you by Split Enz You got nothing I want by Cold Chisel Come Said the Boy by Mondo Rock Too many to name of INXS songs.

I listen to almost everything, from phil Collins to pink, from enya to eminem, rammstein to R.kelly. Anything but country music and full on electro/dance/trance type noise. I even have a song from one of my daughters barbie DVDs.
