I also get a bit sore while edging (only learned how to do it this year), but the end result does feel better. I've edged for 1hr at most, 20 minutes at least, but it all comes down to learning how to read yourself. How to tell what your body does when your about to finish, and stopping just before. When I started edging, I also could only edge for about 5 minutes, but with persistence I learned slowly how to hold off finishing for longer and longer, and when I get too sore, I wait about 5 - 10 minutes before going again. As a man , if I have an orgasm then that's it for a period of time, because once I've fucked, I am fucked for 20 minutes to an hour and a half which is the recovery time before another orgasm is remotely possible. its great but it does take a while to master i can prob go about half an hour or so sometimes more. to keep it going though i have to fully distract myself with something completely different. In response to lovman's quoted post, with my best guys, I'll orgasm tons of times in the space of an hour, sometimes longer, but that's the squirting, vaginal orgasm I guess you'd call it. In response to your question, it's great when it happens but that's not often...one-offs it's rare, has to be a minimum allnite or better weekender, and it causes consternation and a sense of failure for some girls.
