We heard the car park at Scarborough point was worth a try so off we went a few months back. Next thing we were being questioned by 2 of qld's finest! sorry BS_KS but a little far from your side of town but good for the people living westside. At the end of Meiers Road. Just past the boat ramp

This is really a good spot. I have seen heaps of action here. The best thing about this spot is that there is only one road in and out and its straight for about 1km so you can see cars coming from a distance. Also at the end there is a very secluded car park and park. Recommend this area.

I've seen it said in various places that Gayundah Esp is that sort of place. We've kept an eye out there a few times though and not seen anything going on. There's always plenty of cars parked late at night but it seems more a lovers lane than a dogging spot.

Yes Wild Horse Mountain works very well, the car park isn't lit up so can be very discreet if that's what you want. Also sometimes there are like minded people there who if enough courage is built up can sometimes lead to even more fun or just good voyeurism.
