It depends in what context . Do you mean in the chatroom ? That it’s mostly single males or the male half of a couple ? Or do you mean that nowadays people have forgotten how to really have a good chat ? As in out of the chatroom? We have seen so many couples, out to dinner, where one or both are busy texting on their smartphones instead of engaging & chatting verbally to one another. - Posted from rhpmobile

Chatting in the forums seems to open the flood gates for others to take offence and/or jump in with criticism so could be a reason for the decline. Also find that most people we chat to through messaging on here tend to direct the chat to Kik

Could also be a lot can only get into the txt room the other rooms dont open up on phone or laptops be buggered if changing from chrome so can get into other rooms its only R H P have problems with

The chatrooms used to rock , with a queue waiting to join as they only allowed 100 profiles on there at a given time. There were many couples and females, but now the chatrooms are mostly males. Not sure what happened. Were the couples chased away ? Or did they simply move elsewhere to do their chatting ? - Posted from rhpmobile

We’ve never used the chat rooms, Mrs D is quite shy (hard to believe I know lol) and we prefer more direct chatting with our RHP time. I quite enjoy joining discussion in the forums but it is a lot quieter here of late. Mr D - Posted from rhpmobile

They are not available using the RHP phone app. You have to log in to the site from a browser in order to get the chat room, and other, options. That I suspect is what keeps many people away - they simply don't know they are there if they are app users. - Posted from rhpmobile

We tried the chat rooms when first joined but were inundated by unwanted remarks and comments from single males, some being quite rude and disgusting, even for a sex site. Hence hardly ever chat, will often come in and check it out, but that is all.

Yes, we have had similar experiences in the chatroom. Many couples ,that we know, no longer visit the chatrooms as a result of the disrespectful behaviour of many single males. It’s the same on other sites too. - Posted from rhpmobile

theres no respect anymore from single males who cant read profiles , but that can also include couples too and single women , so theres good and bad in all walks of life , Most are good fun people to be hinest , but chatrooms and predominantly for singles it seems and couple just seem to whisper, heres no room for rudeness in this scene as its a small world we play in so just be nice its free

We would be too shy. Too newbie. Never been a chat person on any type of site, even dislike fb messenger. Been asked to chat once here...single male "wanna chat?" ...nope. We are still at dear in the headlight stage 😨🤤

We find meeting in public places never works leads to nothing 99%of the time .Most cpls tend to chat about everything except what we are yhere for of course in.public we all need to tone it down play it down to so theres the other conundrum .. We find after chatting in kik and we all get along and like who we see in instant pics .we see no reason not to get to next base. Chatrooms dont work mostly coz its overrun with songles chatting so this stops cpls chatting to each other. Chatrooms can be too clicky as well - Posted from rhpmobile

We have several iPads but no desktops/laptops in our home. RHP chatrooms simply do not work on iOS so simply can’t use them. Maybe an upgrade RHP can look at 😊

Love your post....recently read in a pop psyche book ("emotional intelligence")that even the most popular child in the classroom gets rejected out of hand by the in group for no apparent reason 30 percent gf the time...on here its probably 80%....

it seems to us that surprisingly (not) the aesthetics dominate which to us is the wrong way around...of course if you feel like you are choking in hair and fat then the aesthetics are important but most of the people on here are between the extremes of drop dead gorgeous or fell out of the ugly tree hitting every branch on the way down. We recognise that physical attractiveness is important but for us deep intimate pleasure is derived from connection which is primarily occurs in the cerebellum not the undies..and when touch is informed by that intellectual mutual appreciation it is infinitely more resonant and fulfilling...just sayin
