  Is it blocked from seeing AND sending messages or just blocked from sending messages? Frankly if I block someone I would rather its the former. I dont block lightly but do if someone pisses me off or messages us when clearly they are not what we seek. I also block white ants. Good feature blocking. We are on one [atm] block list and I know who it is and the idiot who kept looking at our couples profile seeking women blocked us when I challenged him after he messaged us. Mars

  and gone the next... I think the feature that was showing the number of block lists we were on was showing on the 'profile statistics' page under Home. It's not there any more :-( One not very effective way we know of telling that someone has you blocked is when you're in the chat room, their profile name will show red. Another not very effective way is that you can't see their profile if they have you blocked :-) MrsP :-*

  So do you guys prefer to see the stats of how many people have blocked you, or just pretend that the feature was never there in the first place and carry on with the illusion that we're all too beautiful to be blocked by people ? ;)

  well i wish they gave the option to see who has blocked you i mean id like to know who it is i wonder why they took it off i hope they put it back

  Blocking is an issue of privacy. Do you really want people to know if you've blocked them?? There are crazy enough people who would happily create a new RHP profile just to have a go at you for blocking them!! I would suggest RHP took of the blocked people stat based on that reason alone.

  I'm on block by people I have never had an interaction with at all. There seems to be some freaks who put people on block in chat for no reason. The only thing I can think of is they are abit slow or dumb and can't follow the chat flow so anyone they don't know or don't plan on rooting etc they just block so their text doesn't confuse them.

  I believe that blocked lists are useful but people shouldn't rush into adding people to them as we all have a right to look at the profiles on here as it is only once you view them that you can find out what the people are actually looking for. Then only if somebody continuously looks at there profile after finding out the persons preference should they then block them. As for finding out who's blocked list you are on if you try to view their profile it will come up and tell you that the profile has been blocked by either RHP or the person.

  We don't block lightly, and it's only ever really for harassment reasons. ie; said we're not interested, but we keep getting msgs/flirts. So what, if someone's blocked you, move on. Plenty more fish in the RHP-sea. We do think it is a bit silly to be able to see how many block lists your on, but not see who by. There's not middle ground, either know everything or know nothing at all. It would also be nice to be able to distinguish if a profile your trying to look at is blocked (by the user) or locked (by RHP) for review, that way you know not to check back later and see if you can see it... End of the day, who cares. If you're blocked or or been blocked, either way one party does not want to have anything to do with the other, so there's not going to be any decent correspondence if you do find out!

  I don't care if I've been blocked, or who I've been blocked by, or why they blocked me. It's their perogative. The same way it's mine to block anyone I want, for whatever reason I want, without having to explain to anyone why. I don't need to see a list of who's blocked me. Everyone has their reasons, even though you may not know them. This also goes even if you have never interacted with them. You don't need to interact with someone to block them, or for them to block you, at all. Soubi.

  The Blocking issue on here Can be a sensitive issue to some and I do agree with what most people on here especially both what Capital and HotOzCouple_cc have said. Rather the variety of reasons n excuses are fair and valid or not, rather it was from stupid acts & behaviour towards other chatters by your part, clash of personality, stalking/harassment, bigotry, etc anyway if you been blocked best thing is leave it and move on and don't pursue it just block them back if you like, there are many decent mature people on here to chat to and meet. If you take it personally and try and pursue it further this can make it worse and others will get pissed off, report you for abuse and can go as far as being banned by RHP administrators if others report u for same reason and the complaints valid, remember Big RHP brother is watching they even recorded all typed conversations that occur in the chat rooms and messages you send on these forums or to members for a limited period. I know 3 people who use to chat on here that r now banned from this website and now chat on AMM chat rooms as a result. As for the stats on how many peoples have u blocked that's stupid! Its as bad as who's hot list you on, all that is needed is who u r friends with thats it as for blocked or who u think is hot stats thats a private and personal concern and shouldn't need to be seen by others its not as if this is facebook or myspace.com

  As some have mentioned, theres no real point trying to work out why someone may have blocked you. For whatever reason either justified or not, thats their preference. I wouldnt mind betting some have even blocked by accident or a misclick, particularly in public chat rooms n such. Another possible reason some may want to block you could be, they have given you access to their private gallery and now they dont want you to have it anymore lol. I guess they dont know how to go to "my lists" and remove you, so its just easier to BLOCK you lol.However I think its kinda funny that after blocking you they still try and view your profile lolIve had this happen to me. The weird thing is, we had some very civil messages back n fourth. Not at any point had the person indicated to me that they didnt want to converse anymore in future. In fact we were merely aquaintences and there was never any attempt to meet either way. Its quite bizarre they should have wanted to block me...I just think its ironic that when you take the time to listen to someone especially when it appears they need someone to talk to you, and its often easier when you dont know the person sometimes, and then without any warning, BAM! lol They block you. I think one other reason for those who use the public chat rooms (im speculating because i havent used them) is that maybe if you are a BIG TALKER, you may flood the lobby, and if they dont want to see you crap in the lobby, they may block you as a bit of a filter. Lets face it, if you're interested in talking to women and men are flooding the lobby, why not block all the men? That way the lobby wouldnt scroll as fast, and you could focus on people u are interested in. Heres an idea for those unsure if they have been blocked.Create a new profile, and then try viewing the person in question. If you can view their profile on that name, and you cant on your member name, then u know they have blocked you.At the end of the day though, you just have to ACCEPT that this world takes ALL SORTS and that reasons dont need to be logical or rational. Just move on... It actually tells you a LOT more about the person thats blocked you, especially when u have been civil on all accounts. I woudnt take it personally. As some have said, there are a LOT of weirdos about...
