Amsterdam recommendations

We are off on our first European holiday, including Amsterdam from 6 to 16 August 2010. Would any of you more experienced travelers be so kind as to recommend any adult entertainment, over and above the obligatory "girls in the windows" and the "hash cafes" ?Of course we have done some homework, and have come across the following swingers clubs:Amsterdam showboat (a club on a boat)Club Paradise (wow!)Fata-Morgana (a pretty homely pub like atmosphere)Fun4Two (oh my god!)All recommendations will be explored (if we have enough stamina!)And of course, if any of you happen to be in the neighborhood from 6-16th August, it would be lovely to hear from you.We will be online.

Damn - after looking at Fun4Two I'm ready to start chasing travel agents myself!

I had 3 nights in Amsterdam, many years ago and i found it a great city, even though i'm not a smoker, the stage shows ranged from MILD to VERY WILD, I found the best way was to ask at reception they have heard it all before and knew some of the better ones. As for the ladies in the windows sure things have changed a great deal so i can't comment, but it is very with a high police presence. I did a booze cruise one night, can't remember the name of it unfortunatly but all drinks where included and they ended right in the red light district :)

The best 'coffee shop" I visited was DAMPKRING. Look it up- www.dampkring.nl They are fabulous and more often than not there's an Ozzie working in one! Its a very reputable and lots of fun! Email me for any more info. Enjoy xx
