After Isolation

April 11 2020

When isolation ends and we are free to resume road trips, long weekends or even holidays, what are you going to do and where to? Me, as soon as I can I’m off to Sunny Coast to get some sun, fishing, and golf. So to all my friends in Noosa I’ll see you soon. Keep smiling and stay safe - Posted from rhpmobile

By that time, I think Murray Cod season will have passed its closed season and the waterways will have been rejuvenated from any excess fishing pressure... I know, December is a long way away....and maybe it won’t last that long, but I’m planning on it, and it will definitely be an awesome time for a weekend away by the river me thinks... Mr dragon

It has been my dream for so long to visit India one day. Hate that in today's current climate this may not be safe for me to do for a while. In the long term I would love to visit there, one day ❤

I dunno who Dragon thinks he’s fooling but we never had time to get away before & I can’t see that changing any time soon, lol. It’ll still be work work work for us with maybe the odd day trip on a weekend when/if the kids earn a day release & we let them out of their cages. Ms Phoenix.

Hahaha Ms Phoenix 😘 Kisslids....as Ms Phoenix said, I don’t get huge amounts of time to head out with the rods, but usually - with the exception of the last couple of cod season openings due to weather or unavailability - I head out for an overnight stay on the Murray river somewhere to have a crack... it will be very interesting to see exactly how much rehabilitation Mother Nature has gone through by the time it’s possible again for sure... With the intent to just enjoy a long ambling drive. Hopefully end up at a beach where I am allowed to loiter for hours and have all thoughts driven out of my mind by the roar of the ocean. I want to hug & kiss my friends, sit close and laugh the night away - in person for a change. A massage.... a long sensuous massage 😍 So many more things... roll on Spring, where we should.... hopefully... be out of isolation.

The first warm day of spring always involves a trip to the beach! Usually for us it's a bottle of bubbles and Maslins after dropping the kids at school! Sort of a reward for surviving the winter in the Adelaide hills😊 I'll miss spending my June birthday at the victory hotel, drinking sparkling red and gazing at the sea view! Hopefully spring will bring happier times... a quiet night at home in front of the fire with family instead 👌

Take my 72yr old mum out, to her favourite place by the waters edge and let her eat all the fish and chips (her favourite), she dam well wants to eat and feed the seagulls. She's been at home now for over 5 weeks! Ms Foxy PS I take fish and chips to her, but it's not the same as being by the water, smelling the salt air. Eating at the kitchen table is boring.

I had UK booked for May, left in 1964 and never been back, so I guess anther 12 months won’t matter in the scheme of things. My brother disappeared from sight here in Aus. 30 years ago, he turned up in UK frozen to death under a bridge, 15ks from my eldest sisters house, turns out he was a local “character” all this time pommie sis is giving us shit for not finding him and he was having coffee in her local shops. Life is strange. Yeah..... I want to visit the people who knew him and fill in some gaps. Hmmm enough from me, you lot might, ........ yeah nah.

Talking to a surfer chiick at the beach this morning and we were on this subject. My hope is that all the people previously so caught up in theur careers, working to much, accumulating stuff, getting into more debt, nit spending time with thier kids and lovers etc, will stArt to realise, life and freedom is short, and can be taken away at a moments notice. Hopefully millions more will start to live it up more, travel, try new things (nudism for example), be more openminded, appreciate their friends more, hug and touch more, try Polyamory, pansexualism, even visit some swingers clubs It's a whole world out there* . . . . *I may have missed about 300 billion things to do, but I cant list them all 😎

We're usually in Thailand enjoying Songkran or the magnificent outta islands and brilliant weather this country was blessed with.. Just the other day we were looking at some past videos and pic's which really wet our appetite for a fix.. If that's not possible , Bali is our 2nd choice. If neither are possible ' im looking at buying a caravan to go where our nose leads us... The Philippines sound inviting , specially seeing someone's mum owns a Mango plant... So that's also on our radar...

Good news for WA it seems. My brother will be more than anxious at some future time to get back to playing golf in the only state I believe that banned it (Vic). Lots of comments and memes online comparing one or two guys in the middle of a 400m fairway to the 100s allowed around the lake walking (so much so there is a debate about making it one way). Go figure... I'm just waiting for groups larger than 2 to be allowed so that I can see my intimate partner (couple) again, under any circumstances...

Well I’m really craving physical touch so this not being able to fly back to Brisbane to connect with a particular friend is really emotional destroying. Just hand shaking and cuddling even if it is platonic is driving me in sane. Dam I’m getting to the point I would just pay someone to spoon up to and have physical contact with. I work in a very respectful and male dominated industry and even that has been taken away by the government. People please start thinking about the bigger picture hear. hugs and kisses to all I think it’s going to be 60 hour weeks to pay back the debt. I thinking it’s time to put myself first for the first time in my life and enjoy life, because your freedom are diminishing daily, so for me it’s back into the air and go whatever I want when ever I want. That’s the goal for 2020

Just read this.... But Dr Brendan Murphy told media on Monday that Australians needed to re-think how they interact with others as restrictions ease. He said social distancing should still be upheld until the virus is eliminated. "Even if we release restrictions in the future, people need to change the way they interact permanently," Dr Murphy said. "If we are going to relax these distancing measures, the things we have closed, we have to change how we interact as human beings until we are through with this virus." Doesn't seem we will be playing any time soon 😕

Things will not simply revert to the pre-covid19 normality. Social distancing, which is a misnomer for spatial distancing, is here to stay until an effective vaccine is available. How many anti vaxxers will stay staunch then?
