I didn't start the topic to be all like "if you don't like affection you're weird" or anything. Open discussion is good. One of my uni friends is like you - she hates people being up in her personal space. She's still an awesome person though, she just expresses intimacy differently. SuperFoxxxy - Hah! Meeka100 - Lol. I think that can pass as acceptable :P I prefer my own space when sleeping too. Love some spooning/cuddling/etc before bed, but when it's actual sleeping time, get the fuck off me haha.

I have always been an affectionate person and I can happily say when I met Mr I was in heaven as he is just as affectionate as me. We love to cuddle each other in bed, on the lounge or random cuddles all over the house.This is similar with kissing and when we are out in public we almost always hold hands or Mr puts his arms around me. He tells me that this is how he shows me he loves me and by how much. Taby xx

And being made to feel......cherished, adored, wanted, cared for. Wrapped up in that coccoon of comfort.....i think it's a basic human need to feel sheltered by another human beings warmth. Of course I've had fuckbuddys who simply prefer cuddling up to a nice warm feminine body as opposed to their pillows. I also like to cup an arse cheek and have feet touching when I settle down for slumber, JayJay I love your new arse shot but next time kick my arse out of bed for snoring!!! Lol and spooning you was done in my sleep, I can't be held accountable for what I do in my sleep.....you're just lucky I didn't dry hump you!! ~ Oops!! I love a affectionate woman who loves to be nice because thats just the way she is. Specially if the feeling is mutual.. I had a GF who ' when Id go to pick her up, she would always greet me with a running jump. The first time we ended up sprawled on the grass laughing after that I was prepared and caught her.. lol. Nothing put on,,, just genuine and affectionate, even when we were out... That was nice...

There is nothing better then a mutual affection :) I love a car cuddle (just resting a hand on the persons leg with soft tender strokes now n then :)) or the slight arse touch (no not grop) as u motion the person around ;),, But nothing beats the long slow (and I mean long) lingering soft kisses as the sun sets behind you both ur hands simply locked into each other's n the eye contact as u both come up for air :)) Fuk I miss that those real kisses that just leave you speechless

I am definitely an affectionate person & enjoy it being returned, in fact I need it to be returned. Every little bit of affection spoken about in the posts before mine are a necessary part of the intimacy I enjoy giving as well as crave receiving. I'm with you, and it seems so are the majority here. I love feeling connected and like to manifest that physically, so when out in public, I like simple gestures like leaning a leg on him gently, or resting a hand on his thigh. When I'm sleeping I love having at least one tiny part of our skin in contact somewhere, even just a foot or calf. It's funny because my childhood and family life was lacking in physical affection, and now I can't get enough of it.
