My partner is allergic to latex but would like to wear a condom for anal. Can you suggest anything?
If your male partner is allergic to latex then it's worth looking into polyurethane condoms as an option. They aren't as hard-wearing and elastic as latex condoms but provide similar protection against pregnancy and STI. You should be able to buy polyurethane condoms from chemists (who can advise you further on how effective they are) or order online.

If you are only looking at a latex-free option to use with each other then give the polyurethane condom a go but use lots of lube and try not to be too vigorous to avoid tearing the condom. Anal sex offers more friction than vaginal so go slow and see how the plastic fantastic holds up.

If you are considering polyurethane condoms as an option with other sexual partners, then please carefully consider if this method offers you sufficient protection and enjoyment in such scenarios. Polyurethane condoms won't be effective if a energetic romp sees them fall off or get torn to shreds.
