WONDERBRAS are set to become bestsellers in Vietnam - because the ruling Communist Party is banning small-chested women from driving motorbikes. Anyone with a chest under 71cm will be outlawed in a bid to make the country's notoriously hazardous roads safer. The idea is to prevent people who are too thin, too short or too sickly from riding a motorbike, Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper reports. Enlarged livers and sinusitis will also rule out aspirant motorists.

Cop it sweet

AN AMOROUS couple have been arrested after having sex in their car - in a disabled space outside a police station. The US couple told officers they were unaware where they had parked, reports the Morning Call newspaper. They hadn't noticed several marked police cars in the other parking spaces nearby. They were outside the main police station in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, with the engine running in the early hours of the morning when a police officer tapped on the windscreen. Dennis Cullen, 23, and his female companion, who has not been named, told police they had been drinking at a university function earlier in the evening. Cullen was charged with drink driving. Neither he nor his companion were charged in connection with having sex in the car.

The 29-year-old was caught when a resident in Swan Creek Township, Michigan, spotted him acting suspiciously and called police. A German teacher has been caught on camera stripping down to almost nothing during a raunchy game of “truth or dare” with her 15-year-old students. The strip tease, filmed on a student's mobile phone, has outraged parents who have demanded the woman be sacked, the The Sun newspaper reports. The teacher was supervising a start of term party at a school in Zalaegerszeg, western Hungary, when the game got out of hand. The unnamed woman is seen curtsying in the video before ripping off her top and swinging it around her head in time to music as her teenage pupils cheer and hoot. The teacher strips down to her bra and unzips and lowers her pants suggestively. She continues her raunchy floor show for about two minutes before another teacher steps in and covers her with a table cloth. One parent was quoted in the Sun as saying the students "couldn't believe their luck" when the teacher started stripping. The school's principal has refused to bow to demands the woman be fired. "I was forced to give the German teacher a warning, but I will not dismiss her because she is a valuable teacher for our institution," principal Sandor Rozman said. The woman showed no more skin than you would see on a beach, he said.

A small Dutch community has recorded a 44 percent rise in baby births nine months after a power cut plunged its 23,000 inhabitants into darkness for two days. In December last year, the blades of an Apache helicopter accidentally severed the high voltage cables providing electricity to the nine villages that make up the municipality of Maasdriel in the east of the country. During the ensuing 50 hours of darkness, many inhabitants sought mid-winter hospitality in other towns, "but some found heat among themselves," town spokeswoman Annelies van Eijkeren said. There were 26 babies born in Maasdriel in September — a 44 percent rise on last year's 18, she added. While authorities may want to boost the population, "we are not envisaging doing so by cutting the power", said Van Eijkeren.
