Snapping yourself topless then accidentally posting it on Twitter instead of deleting it … That's happened to all of us, right?

This kind of blooper seems to be rife in the celebrity community, though.

Alison Pill, who plays Maggie Jordan on the US sitcom The Newsroom, posted a racy photo of herself on Twitter yesterday lounging on her bed dressed only in a pair of librarian glasses.

The shot was deleted quick-smart, but not before a few hundred people saw it.


Realising her mistake, the 26-year-old tweeted, "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."
