There is racism in the world... so sad that it still exist.... but guys and girls... would u still be attracted to a diffrent color skin? would u still go to bed with him or her? or would u let the rest of the world decide for you? that white people should only go to bed with white people.. etc etc? ps..hope what i am asking has come through clearly... For me...if there is an attraction.. and laughter... i would go to bed with a diffrent colour skin... cause no matter what type of skin we were born with.. we all have a heart and passion... xxx

Hi tinks xx

I love these forums lol for me the answers are: yes yes no no I absolutely look at the personality more than the skin colour - infact i happen to find the skin colour of some african/americans very very sensual. and yes we all have a heart that is full of passion.

good question

For me this isn't a case of a clear cut yes or no answer. I'm certainly in no way shape or form a rascist person, but there are certain races of people who I do not find physically attractive at all, not all races but some. So for me I would have to be struck down by someone extrodinary to be actually able to see past what I consider to be unattractive. On the other hand I have and would again be more than comfortable sleeping with or having a relationship with someone whose skin is other than white. DJ

Racism and attraction

Hi Tinks, I think we need to be careful how we use the term racism.  For me racism is when we deny someones natural rights just becaus of thier race/ethnicity. If we are not attracted to someone and they are different to us that doesn't make us racist.  It just means we are not attracted.  But if we are attracted and we let society pressure us then we are weak.  As they say evil lives when good people don't speak out. Me ,I say viva le difference.  Life would be bloody boring  if we were all the same ... in life and in the sack. Cheers  Ed

Hmmm

Had to think long and hard about that one.  Honestly, I have noticed I do treat some people differently; I do react to different skin tones sometimes.  I'm not saying it's right, it's not right but I'm working on it.  I call it conditioning and I'm not proud of it. Like Still_luv_it, there are one or two nationalities that (generally) just don't do it for me but I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule; olympic atheletes are often among the exceptions for me, I guess because athletes generally do it for me. And like someone else said, some African women are...awesome.  Their skin so dark and taught - they seem the pinnacle of human evolution, not towards being "civilised" but of peak performance and top shape.  They are really sexy.  Japanese women, some African-American women are also...mmm.  I t just occurred to me that I am turned off by contemporary common values like materialism and consumerism and waste and these values are commonly linked to white people.  White people, though in the minority in world population, hold the majority of power and wealth.  I naturally find myself more attracted to minority races and what some might call the "meek" (a compliment in my book) ie.indigenous peoples of any country.  I am attracted to their culture as much as anything else.  I respect them. I hope that answers your question Tinks.  Nice one!

Not racist !

For me its all about personality ! Skin colour & origins/religion mean nothing to me ! If the person clicks with you, then all that is bypassed & peeps we all know when we click with people don't we ! ! We either feel something or we don't  . . . Its called personal chemistry. Crank124

nuh... not as a "direct" result

No, but.. careful here.. I wouldnt simply go out and try to find an african, or an asian.. or an aboriginal.. but if I met someone of interest who was non-caucasian and we hit it off and they matched everything i was looking for ... then I guess maybe. Tricky one..

Lucky Country

Tinks, The general opinion here is that colour dosn't matter.  This is a very Australian attitude.  I have found Europeans to be, if not  racist, really uncomfortable with people that are different.  I lived in Austria for 18 months and got invited to a party the week I left.  The people were nice once you got to know them but getting there required a lot of effort.  Aussies will take you at face value. Different colour:one people

Yep we're all human.  Skin colour does not influence how I see people.  Like others have said, it is personallity that attratcs rather than external appearances.  And yes, I have had sex with someone of a different skin colour.  I was married to him for 7 years and he is the father of one of my beautiful sons. Its great to see so many positive responses because I have witnessed racism in various places I have lived and visited in Australia and I am so glad that more and more people are speaking out and showing that skin colour is not an issue for them. We may truly be the lucky country after all. Good on you Tinks for asking the question. Cheers Wildly passionate about ending racism.

Hillbillies

all different

We are all soooo different. We lived in UK, traveled Europe, and found the people to be very friendly and accomodating. Having lived here for 7 years we found making friends very hard, thank god for the the swinging scene here where everyone is less judgemental and more open, where our circle of friends now lie(excuse the pun) . We are from Zimbabwe, but having a South African sounding accent probably is the reason. As for black, is that Will Smith black, or the aids and TB bearing skinnies we are importing by the thousands from Sudan, Ernie Dingo black, or Nigel, fucking legend black?...I've been everywhere man ..jail...jail..jail.... Topics like this generally try to raise peoples emotions. If its legal, you enjoy it, well do it behind your closed doors, one person liking something and another disliking it does not make either of those people the better person.
