tattoos, lovem or hatem

i love tattoos, to me they are a form of art, some can be really amazing and others are ok. id  like some  opinions on tatts on women, i have one but it isn't where everyone can see it. I have had pretty mixed reactions when guys and even women find out i have one. let me know what you think

totally up there with you on this one fluffy42. Both my wife and i have ink. Hers are on her back, shoulders/arms, full leg. They look great. And they have significance to her. She does not care what people think, but is well aware of the stereotyping that follows her. Even as a guy i get stereotyped ! What really makes the difference is how you are as a person. My wife often gets the "i never expected you to have tattoos" thing. Really, what the hell does that mean? (rhetorical question). Basically though, if you are a chick and have tatts , don't be acting like a bogan or you will be regarded as a bogan. Ladies, wear your ink with pride. As you say fluffy, it is art. Some bloody good art too. Many people in positions that many would never believe would have tattoos often have the full body, torso, full back, sleeves, etc. But they are never seen in the workplace. They can be very private. It is  a sad reflection on the thinking of the many in todays society that one can be pre judged  because we chose to continue a rite that is thousands of years old. How is it that people with tattoos do not judge those without ?

It is up 2 the person to have them on their own body. It is a personal choise. And in truth i do not mind. It is a good thing 2 talk about.. where u have one.. what does it mean 2 you. I myself am thinking about getting one. Yet it is also a great way 2 break the ice..

hey libertine, know exactly what you mean, cause i get your the last person i expected to have a tattoo. i got my tattoo when my marriage broke up it is the  shape of a butterfly and has a tiger face in it, the meaning of it for me is new beginnings and strength. am planning on getting more added onto it, but thats my choice. Everybody is different and an individual, if we weren't then this would be a pretty boring world.

hi fluffy42, yes there is a lot of lovely artwork going around on female bodies,which is great to see.as i have 6 of them,with more to come soon i hope.so all the sexy women out there with artwork come on show it off,who really cares what other people think,you have them for what ever reason,so be proud of them.the only difference between people with them and the people without them is, the one's with them don't care what the other think....

Tatts on women

Me personally, love tatts on men and women. I have 8 myself, and plan on more. When I was single I would state that I have tatts and piercings upfront, so then if people didn't like women with tatts then they didn't have to waste their time on me, or me on them. All my tatts represent something of my life, even including my ex husbands initials lol. I have tatts on my shoulder blades, shoulder, working on the back, wrist, boob, ankle and thigh and I don't hide them for anyone, they are who I am, and I feel that if people don't like them, then don't look at me. I'm going to a Ball in Sept and I'm not choosing a dress to hide my tatts, I wear them with pride, yes, even the ex hubbys initials. I learnt a long time ago...."The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattoed people is, tattoed people don't care if your not tattoed!"

Tattoos..... your choice, your body!!!

Hey Fluffy, Tattoos are a personal choice. I have 8 and got my first at 32. I love every one of them and have no regrets. They are all of my favourite animal......the tiger and each was chosen for a reason. As for what men think.... does it matter....I have met plenty who love them. The ones who don't, don't really matter to me. They definately catch peoples eyes when they are on show and to be honest the perv is a bit of a buzz. My body is my canvas to do with what I want in life and if it makes me happy looking at them then that is all that matters. So more power to women with tatts..... they are not bar codes or tramp stamps....... they are a beautiful artform and look great.

Love a tattooed woman

I have a playfriend with tattoos, she has them everywhere and along with her peircings makes her who she is.
Couldn;t imagine her without them really, I find them a complete turn on for me and specially love the ones on her arms which are beautifully and very tastefully done

Tattoos are an artform, and like any art form they will, and should, have their critics. A beautifully designed piece can be spoiled by placing it on a poor canvas, but conversely a beautiful setting can make a mediocre tattoo shine. Some people are suited to having them and some people aren't.

Body art is soooo Yummy

I love bogy art in all forms, from ink, to cell popping, branding, scarification, pericings etc.... on men and woman. All though I do prefer original work and seek a male partner who is into body art and who has taken the time to decorate his body as I am. However I can't stand ink work that has come straight off the tattoo's artist wall or out of their stock book! And the more colour the better.

Tats

I personally love tats on people, and love my tats, got my first little ones when I was in my mid 20s but have gotten several more since. and they arn't so little. But in the end they are a personal preference too. because I do know a lot of people don't like them. But it seems once a person gets one they are addicting! LOL I'm always looking for my next tat. But then I also like getting them :)

I Love Tattoos, i have 3 looking at getting more.
Funnily enough i get asked do i have piercings. So i ask do you have tatts.
The choice is the persons.
They are art.
And again i love em.
