mmmm yes

We know how you feel. We dont accept any friends unless we have spoken to them for more than a couple of times and only then if we still think they would be fun to meet. Mainly after swapping face pics.

I only put up

People I have met.

I do not get why people add others they never met. I guess you develope an online friendship but I would have no idea if that person was real or not. Or what they said they are or even if its their real pictures.

They are just pen pals till the time I meet them. My friends are not always people I have had sex with either.

Even then I wait for them to want me to add them as a friend, as some people like their privacy. Especially people I photograph.

Yep

Thats exactly why I never send friend requests, I'm not here

to piss people off, well intentionally anyway.

Though I'm always open to accepting them from people on the

Forums who I respect and like. I don't need to have met them

personally.

Some from here are even Facebook friends.

It seems to me,that some people

happily accept friend requests from absolutely anyone and everyone,I do not understand that practice.

I accept friend requests from pepole I have met and liked, or people who I have chatted to online.x Hugs H

Actually I kind of disagree..

Facebook to me is exactly my (for want of better word) " Real" friends. Quite frankly its a lot harder to find me on facebook as it is here and my pics of family to me are far more personal then some random breasts and body shots we have up in public on this site. Hence my facebook friends is a marginally smaller group then the number of friends on our list here..

So...

The faciilty of "friends" on here I use as either people we have met, types of people that interest us,or rather yummy profiles we like to look at .If they have no pics and just send out a friends request its a simple ignore and delete .

Not too sure why some  people get so wrapped up in what or how many friends OTHER profiles end up with? Whinge about your own if you must that's fine. either way it aint no pissing contest worth writing home about.

Agree with Saturn

I have to wonder if they are like 'trophies' as in 'oh look, I have lots of friends on my profile'. I prefer my friends to be real rather than pictures. Just my 2 bob's worth.

Only real people

Except for one or two very rare instances we only accept friend requests from  people we have actually played with.

Friends

Pretty much agree but I'm not the sort to send out requests to all and sundry.

I only ask if I think the person is interesting and would find me interesting.

I don't facebook (yes a sad pleb).

But its a wide wide world out there.

I checked out your profile paradise14. It is one hot profile page so i suppose some people may want to be associated with that. Giives them a lift & they may feel that by being on your page it may in some way improve their chances, give them an edge in some way.You know i am friends with her so i must be hot.

Only ppl we've met

We only add people we've met or have spoken to regularly.  I have the same rules on here as for my Facebook. If they aren't actually friends, they don't make the list.

Huh?

I really don't understand this! I've stated specifically at the start of my profile that my friends list are only people I've met and/or emailed (pen pals)...and yet I still get requests from people I've never talked to. And while I can kind of understand Guest members adding others to try and initiate contact, what confuses me more are those that are paid members, send a friend request, and don't email...and after you decline, send another friend request!

Also

Also, what's the con of adding someone to your list? There is no privilege of adding someone to on to your friend list at all (eg. being able to see PG, unlimited messages, etc.) Having them on your list is the same as not, so I don't really see the point of getting fed up with it.
