Hey guys and Gals,
                              Hubby and I are new to Perth and wondered if anyone could point us in the direction of some clubs, bars etc where the liberated hang out.
All help and advice appreciated

Elephant and wheelbarrow is known to attract the RHP set on fridays and saturdays, and the Voodoo Lounge is one of the classier strip joints around.

Some people highly recommend Geisha, but we've never been there when it was pumping. The late opening time (10, or 11?) doesnt help.

Don't look at Brissie Elephants!!

Hope the Perth Elephant & Wheelbarrow is safer than the Brisbane one? The one & only time we were there..a guy just standing there..no fights or arguements beforehand was glassed square between the eyes...and this was like at 8.45pm!
Crazy ...and concerning..never been back..never will!!

Its not too bad, but it is in Northbridge... actually, come to think of it, the band makes me feel like Ive been glassed in the face, but thats to be expected in an irish pub :)

You cant beat the Court Hotel or Connections

Both the Court and connections are the places to be for aggravation free nights out,alough connections is changing with an influx of drunk Irish guys some nights

I popped in this week when I was driving past to ask if I could have a look around.  Its round the back of Langtrees and the brothel manager showed me around.  It looks clean and new, but as with all clubs like this, its the people who go that make it good or bad.  Its $150 per male and females are free.  You bring your own drink.

We were looking to go...

We were looking to check it out but it looks like Friday is a private party and unfortunately it is one of the few kid free nights we have.

If anyone has any other suggestions for a venue with a 'swinging' kind of sexually charged atmosphere it would be most appreciated

We quite enjoy the music at Elephant & Wheelbarrow. Enjoy the music at all the clubs actually, even trance in the right situation. Guess it's a generation thing.
btw we've never had anything but a good time at the E&W or any of the clubs. Never any aggression.
