I tend to go to King O'Malley's when I get a kid-free night as it is the one reliable place where there is a mixed crowd and you can meet more mature people.
I join this site irregularly as I find I don't establish many contacts when a member, partly my own fault, but also because there aren't a huge number of active members locally. Until a critical mass of members join, there isn't a huge incentive, particularly for guys.
Nothing ground breaking, but hope this is of some help Chiky.
