...that I am aware of is that babies in the womb can and do react to sound, which of course is nothing more that vibrations carried in the air and transmitted via the amniotic fluids that they rest in so peacefully. That said, they can also have reactions to the stress of the mother and other emotional responses which may be transmitted through the developing central nervous system and absorbed as a byproduct in the bloodstream as some are chemical reactions to environmental stimuli.

The use of a vibrator...who knows, as the sound and sensation may be a pleasant one albeit difficult to ascertain without significant research. A pleasant and relaxing climax may be just what the doctor ordered for both mother and child. Some doctors will even allow for a small glass of red wine during pregnancy...others may recommend that any alcohol be given a miss entirely.
As for foolish men who abstain entirely during the pregnancy...they have no idea what they are missing and at perhaps one of the most intimate times in their lives that they will ever experience. These most likely are the ones that will take the delivery for a miss or worse, pass out cold throughout this amazing event and miss being able to watch their child open it's eyes and take that first breath.
Talk to your doctor and/or ObGyn...it's a pity more men don't take the time to share in the journey that is the start of a new life, perhaps both that of the child and your own.
vibrators are unsafe....if you have 'placenta previa', or are at risk of early delivery.....or have an existing vaginal infection. vibrators are harder than a penis generally and should be treated with extra care, and kept extra clean. but i would guess that with proper care and thoughfulness, its no less safe than many other things we do to pregnant women
....care should be taked when using a foreign object anywhere near the 'gynie' any way......and pregnancy would logically make that even more important.... if there's a worry...seek advice from a professional who is trained in this discipline.... he/she would be able to advise you properly...
Sound like another clinical obgyn appt...
we know the risks...its our body
placenta pr. happens in the womb not the fucking pussy.....and by ourselves masturbating we DON'T pound our frigging cervixes ffs 'again'
... and I'm with you, DGT. Some comments made may refer to the odd out woman that gets off by riding a pogo stick or using a 12" long Carbolite vibrator with mold growing on it. I don't think that was the question...and if any woman does that then it's Darwin's theory in practice.
Gentle clitoral stimulation may not even penetrate the vagina to any extent and you can clean them without the aid of an autoclave. Go easy with the flame thrower...no matter how much fun it may be if you aim it at the neighbors cat.
*lol*...and as usual Chilli, your creative mind never ceases to amaze me! Hell yes, refresh the batteries and put a silver bullet in the cradle on low...the humming and slight vibration may put the baby right to sleep as they have no idea in the world what it is...and mum can grab a few hours sleep herself.
Funny how we are stopped from breast feeding as early as reasonable yet go bonkers over them again as soon as puberty sets in...ahhhh the mysteries and intricacies of the human mind!
recent scientific studdies have suggested your baby may be born with a stutter (i made that rumour up)
go for it mrs dubbz im sure if there was an issue it would be a known subject and your obstitrician would tell you and the packaging of the vibrator would have a warning
There is absolutely no risk with a vibrator that will not be there for normal sex. Considerably less I should think as the woman is in control not the man. Not saying that all men are rough but they cannot feel what we are experiencing. Also, with placenta praevia, the male sperm can actually trigger early labour in the last trimester. Something a vibrator will not do. I stopped using mine during the last two months as it felt uncomfortable. I also did not like the hardening of my uterus during orgasm at this time.
Using a vibrator should be the same as any other activity during pregnancy.....if it hurts or is uncomfortable dont do it.
