Sorry to hear of yet another relationship on the rocks, I hope
you are both faring well post break-up.
As for getting back into the public arena, that is entirely your
choice.
Personally, I wouldnt consider hooking up with anyone
just out of a long term relationship. Reason being I do not wish
to end up knowing more about the ex than the person Im 'out'
with. Cos that seems to be all they can talk about..that and how
distraught they are...all perfectly normal but leave that for the
counsellor!
If it's just a random bang you're after...conversation is minimal
so knock yaself out mate...just try not to compare the pair
mid thrust....

If you are ready dip your toes then go for it. Life is too short for hanging around.
Just don't expect to jump straight back into anything serious. Have a bit of NSA fun until you are ready to commit again.

It sounds like it was over a while ago, and it just fizzled to an end.
I made the mistake of joining a 'dating' site the night after I had a relationship end (mostly to spite him), and I never felt comfortable. But, that is me...I wasn't ready because I had never been dumped before...you're happy with the outcome, and seem more than ready to dip your toes in again.

PS That guy and I are still very good friends...
..we learn from our experiences, thats what it was.. a great experience , now stop wasting time and get out there...make mistakes and have fun, try new things while you still can ...we are all on limited time.
i wouldnt be wasting your time on RHP as a single guy...try ninemsn dating or oasis ...talk to LOTS of girls, dont look for a new gf, just friendships for now...learn about YOU and waht you want and who suits YOUR style
