Funny that. A while ago I messed around with the age on my profile and changed it anywhere from 30 to 55 over a period of about six weeks just to measure the difference in response. Brae does have a valid point.  I a sure there was a thead a while ago that broached this very topic and there was a few women who admitted to liking these types of emails.  Guess they like the direct approach!  And from memory there were quite a few guys who stated that the line works, not all the time, but enough to be warranted.
