It seems to me that of late a lot of forum topics are being used to criticise or complain. Sure, we all want to vent, even I do from time to time (make that more than time to time).
But we must keep coming back to these forums and the rest of the site for a reason (even if it's just to look at the pretty pictures). So what is about this place that you like or even love? What makes you log in time and time and again?

Me, I like the fact that there are people from a diverse range of backgrounds to interact with even if I don't agree with them. As well as the fact I can openly talk about aspects of my sexuality without feeling like I'm being judged (again mostly... )

I've only been here for a year, give or take,

...but it seems to me that complaints seem to have always made up the majority of thread topics. Ce la vie (yes I know the correct spelling is c'est la vie but you will find that 'ce' is an acceptable alternative outside of France and I'm lazy). I prefer topics of a non-sexual nature. I come to these forums to have discussions with other open-minded adults. There are several disapointmentingly immature individuals pop up from time to time but I really like the exchanges I've had with the majority of contributrors.

thanks for the entertainment...

it's a baron sea out there and the fish just aren't biting, so it seems i'm not here for the sexual experience.... patience is my friend. I have met an amazing person however since joining, so my membership has paid for itself umpteenth fold, and the forums are a wonderful form of entertainment.....  it's like eating at a tapas restaurant, flavors galore, all these wonderful personalities with their own unique taste. It keeps me coming back for more... so, thanks for the experience people.

Hesione, when you stop using your body as a vessel... can i keep your ashes?

Pretty much all of the above

For me it's a fascinating forum to reflect on sex, sexuality, attraction, relationships, alternative lifestyles and all of that. Like (I suspect) many guys I don't talk about sex much with my offline friends, so it's great to have this space. Plus at the moment my social life is pretty much a nuclear wasteland anyway while I'm finishing up a major project that's taking all of my attention - so this is a great distraction (slash horrendous procrastination device!)

I love that I'm hearing the opinions of a whole bunch of people that I probably would never hear from otherwise. I also appreciate the conversations it's helped initiate in my inbox - some just friends to share experiences with, others of a more... erm... amorous inclination!


Plus: arguing on the internet. Where else can you be a total douche without the risk of getting a drink/fist thrown at your head?

Boobs and diversity

The tart of the day has a point - for all the ups and downs, it seems impossible for most to stay away for any stretch of time.  Except Stalky, they must've tied him up good and proper :-(

I like the openness of the place.  Sure there's plenty of fakes, game-players and creeps - but you'll never get a site that revolves around sex without attracting those types.  They're the bugs and rhp is the headlight.  What I like is the community of people who can break free of the concept that sex is some sort of dirty, grubby thing that is a means to an end, instead they can accept that sex is meant to be fun and enjoyed.  Even discuss it openly.  Imagine if the rest of the world tried that!

Oh and I like pictures of boobs, so that helps too.

What draws us in

RHP appeals to our sexy playful minds which feeds on sexual topics and visual stimulation.

 

Enjoy reading profiles (with content) and visualise how things may play out should we go there.

 

Enjoy learning more about experimenting with sex as well as sharing what we have learned with others.

 

Airing our POV should we feel like it.

 

Attending quality parties in the events section and meeting fun people vis`-a-vis´ and seducing them or vica versa.

as much as there is  a lot of complaints and criticising .its in  the forums that a world of strangers that  in most cases ,will never meet,can  come together ,(excuse the pun) chat .inform ,advise and socialise in the comforts of their own  homes..

Expose of diverse bodies and first messages

My first full-on exposure to RHP was in getting Flirts x gazillions whenever I logged on. Being the generally polite person with common couresies drilled in, I looked at profiles, oggled at the wide variety of (mostly) breasts and penis pics, then offered a return flirt or message. The cross-section of people, profiles, pics and pecs is entertaining in itself - I suffer from a warped sense of humour and see the funny side in pprobably too many bizarre things ... probably just to easily amused. Diversity 2: Meeting and maybe playing

The next value-added part of RHP has been the potential of conversing, chatting, conflabbing, having virtual fun and sexy teases. Sometimes, messages and/or phone calls have been minimal before meeting up to 'suss' out the other. The courtship style engendered by RHP-style contact is so different from anything else I've done. It too is so diverse depending on the players involved - another study of the cosmos! The diversity of playtime is just another dimension, yet again. Body parts, styles and techniques, vocalisations, rituals, conversations, laughter and giggles, moans and groans. All the world's a stage and we are merely actors.... Thanks Uncle Will. Rox

Diversity 3: thoughts, opinions and wordplay

Yep! The Forum pages. #Diversity of topics: I wouldn't get to discuss, read about or learn about such a huge range of topics anywhere else in my daily life. #Reading some of the heartfelt experiences, the joys and tragedies of fellow RHPers, I've shared their tears or smiled at their humorous outpourings. #Even the disgust or bitterness  of some that shows through in posts and sometimes the plain ignorant, uncouth or rude of others - they all represent those who are present in the broader community. #The opportunity to contribute if I choose to, or not.
