Have to say I'm a fan of the Wig & Pen. Was so much better in the mid-90's, just after they started and still had live bands on weekends. Now it's good for relaxed conversation without having to shout, but lacks in the music department.

The Benchmark Wine Bar can be good if you're after something a little more intimate with reasonable wines and good food. It's nothing like the Melbourne Supper Club which is utterly amazing - if you're ever in Melb go and have a look if you like comfy leather couches and really good wine!

The Kremlin Bar is pretty cool.

But I've only been there for speed dating (which I hate)

Ticklish, Kremlin bar it is, Friday night? Then I can get you that drink! ;)

Now I want to go out and try these places... I just thought it would be full of 18 year olds and I would feel like old furniture. My teenage daughter tells me I wouldn't like it, but I think she doesn't realise we know how to have fun too... not unlike sex, they think they invented it.
