I personally don't prefer the backdoor. I think some men do not have a clue how to pleasure a woman, hence during intercourse their penis is not squeezed by the womans vaginal muscles. Therefore they only know to ram a womans vagina or to go anal. Should a man take his time, the womans vaginal muscles would relax and begin to clamp on the penis, hence giving both parties a hiightened experiance of a tight vagina and can even lead to prolonged orgasm.
In regards the g-spot been better touched via anal, this is only a myth. G-spot can easily be touched withen the vagina but only when a woman is aroused in the proper manner.
One word that comes to mind: tight. :D
Feeling a finger or toy in the vagina while you're in the back passage, even with another finger or two, can be an amazing. And that's just from my viewpoint. From the way I've had women react I think they really enjoyed it too. :)
