Having tattoos myself, i find them extremely sexy on women. I find that tattoos are an expression of ones self. I have seen quite a few women in rhp who look gorgeous with them.Really gets my blood flowing when i see a woman with tattoos placed in strategic places on their body  :P :P :P :P.

yes please

As far as women are concerned.......the more, the better. However, I'm definitely not a fan of a little thing here or there. E.g, "I got a dolphin/star/flower/etc when I turned 18 to show how mature I am". Either stay totally clean skinned or go nuts. Get yourself covered or have a large piece or two...or three :-P
My ex had a full back piece, it is an incredible piece of work and I was still finding small nuances and details in the artwork every time I looked at it.....

Tattoos on women.... very sexy

xxTRIPSxx I totally agree with you, tattoos on women really are hot and they get my blood pumping! For me its the fact that woman know their body and have a good understanding about art and expression. Im not sayn that all us males don't understand art and expression, it almost seems like its a cliche (sleeves is probably the most common). This is just my opinion though.

To each their own.

I started late in life. My first was a butterfly fluttering about my bush. Since that first, I have gone back for another three and they were all carefully selected for their significance to my life and marriage. There will be more for me, the last one was the basisi for a theme that I will continue across my back. HadI decided to stop after the first two or three, I would not have appreciated someone telling me that I should have stayed totally clean skinned or gone nuts. I doubt that the professional tattooists would appreciate that attitude either as they get a great deal of business these days from ladies just wanting a dolphin/star/flower/etc.

I like a strategically placed little tattoo. I also like a full torso mural. I'm don't find butch tats on biceps attractive on women but I will defend their right to choose to get one.

My hubby's tattoos are sexy too.

Too Much, too little

Tattoos are generally fine. The dont turn me own in any way, except i see the meaning behind them and size up the person FROM that tattoo.. after all.. Tattoo is the expression of one's self.

HOWEVER, too much tattoo.. is a BIG RED FLAG. I find them to be either or combination of:-

low self esteem, lack of confidence, drug addicts, alcoholics, dole bludgers, black sheep, drama queen, trouble seekers, criminal, etc etc etc...

..of which the list contains the type of person i DO NOT look for....

stereotyping?

Agreed JenyLee,

Too often people stereotype others because of their preferences.  What I say is... DO NOT JUDGE... OR YOU WILL BE JUDGED

Just sayin :)

Nice burn jennylee

Tattoos are sexy in some places. But sometimes too many can be over the top.

I like women with the tattoos that are hidden and kinky like just above the Mons Pubis or on the shoulder blade etc because you know they are just for you ;)

uumm

That means I must have low self esteem, lack of confidence, be a drug addict, an alcoholic, a dole bludger, a black sheep, a drama queen, a trouble seeker, a criminal, etc etc etc...

Seeker, I tend to size people up from their ability to annunciate themselves, their spelling, grammar and syntax. I therefore judge that you are an utterly illiterate moron.

Given that, I'm sure there are many of the aforementioned types who would love to have you as a partner because you would suit them, you know, the type who're missing teeth and didn't complete high school....or primary school spelling classes for that matter....

hehehe

And I am a wannabe etc etc etc lol...

I only have one the Latin saying "Carpe Diem" in an Assymetrical Ambigram- in reverse it says "Sieze the Day" it is common but significant for me because I am not an early bird I am a night owl and lack a little self motivation I personalised it by adding a bird with a worm in it's beak ;) it's in my profile pics if u wanna peek ;)

Next will be a rib tatt.......ouch I can feel it. I would like to somehow blend it into by lumbar tatt- I have an issue with random seemingly disassociated ink on a body. then an arch of my foot tatt for a cheeky stiletto.

I have a real thing for script and tatts on girls on the back of the upper thigh = yum

Enunciate? Annunciate is a word, sure, but I don't know if it's the one you were going for.

obviously no one got the point....

.. Let me rephrase my point into another way...

would you date a person that his/her entire skin.. is covered with tattoo(s)? How would the Society.. and the Government departments, and the law, even the Employer of some business, would view you as, if you have more than 10 tattoos all over you that is visible?

I never said that 3 or 4 tattoos are "bad". i said the more tattoos you have, the more likely i dont bother with. Its just how it is. I live out in the real world, I experienced almost everything there is. I've met all kinds of people. So, its not my fault that i have come to this bluddy conclusion! Its not my fault we are all automatically "stereo-typed".. sheesh

now, to all that missed the point.. i know who's the idiot ones.. because, my statement is not a judgement, but my opinion, of how i see things. You ask that question, you get a straight, honest, upfront answer from me. You may love it, or you may hate it. Its entirely up to you. Oh, I have one tattoo myself. and its located on my right shoulder arm. If i want to add more tattoo.. it will destroy the beauty of the artwork of the first one. See? get it? If you dont, dont bother asking me...

So since you all get "politically incorrect" about someone's opinion, I say you are judgmental morons .

*smiles*

Ps: I like 1moretime's response. At least he is DISCUSSING. I respect his answer and ignore the rest ....

pps: Jamesnp. Im sorry, can you "point" out the word that is incorrectly spelled? Its not my fault that I was born deaf, and therefore struggled to write a proper sentence. Given what you said, and carry on about it like a drama queen,  it seems you are the moron of the year.

ppps: Ok, the more I thought about how unintelligent mob you are, next time i'll answer.. i'll answer a flat yes or no. You bluddy work it out yerself...

*shakes his head in disbelief* some people.....

I can sum it up

Hey guys n girls alot of debate here in the forum ,

Now i also do not agree with 1 very rude piece of work here  in the forum but each to there own ......

Now tattoos  hmmmmmm

I would like to ask a question do we all have pictures hanging on our house ? I do this is a expression of what we like in our homes .

the only way i can describe tattoos for me is simple

My body is my canvas so therefore i express my canvas in tattoos i hang pictures of things i hold dear to me and love on my body just like one would in their house ,really there is no difference between them but i wear mine and i am proud of it ,all my tatts have meaning and are put where i think they look best etc ,I express myself in my body art and i like to show it off ................

food for thought also

why is it people judge those with tattoos but we do not judge those who have none !!!!!

To The seeker you are one who judges people but how would you like it if we judge you ?

i can also say this i personally know guys with very high powered jobs whom have their  entire body decorated in fine Art but you call them dole bludgers, criminals , scum ............. i would not be so quick to judge, as you cannot ever judge a book by its cover

Tatts!!!

This post was started because i know a lot of women with tats, and they are proud of them.. I wasnt expecting a negative response from anyone.. Why would anyone try and ruin a perfectly good post??Why judge other people ?? this is about there own choices in tattoos.. Doesnt make them drug addicts, dole bludgers etc etc..    Fair enough you all have your own preferences and ideas, but to be so negative in your opinions?? To demean others who have more than 10 tattoos??

One would think theres more to bitch about in this world.  Each to their own though... Have a good day seeker :)

Tatts!

After reading the comments on this post I can't understand why the seeker is so negative in his opinions.
This post is suppose to be about tattoos on women, not on attacking people and their choices.
I personally love tattoos on women.I find them very sexy .And what about a woman with the whole back and both arms tattooed ,does that count as 3 tatts ? Lol. Anyway keep the ink going ladies, the more the better.

Love your post Trips

Society

is becoming less Judgemental and more tolerant...well in most cases. Tattoos are a form of self expression and belong to the wearer not your ideals.

If on the other hand Seeker you were in a Government department and came across someone who was easy to deal with, friendly, gave fantastic service and as it happened was your dream girl, however was covered in tattoos would you think they were one of our societies persona you have pointed out are n your Red Flag list? I would like to add  that our society helped create.... You for one may of even had a hand in it as i did being a school yard bully or perhaps you sneared down your nose at someone just last week who was contemplating suicide.......

QUOTE: "HOWEVER, too much tattoo.. is a BIG RED FLAG. " This is an opinion and your right to have and I  respect that.

QUOTE: I find them to be either or combination of:-"low self esteem, lack of confidence, drug addicts, alcoholics, dole bludgers, black sheep, drama queen, trouble seekers, criminal, etc etc etc..." This is a judgement and I do not respect that. I ask you Seeker do you have a right to judge and name call. Have you ever walked a mile in these peoples shoes? Perhaps you have or haven't either way i will summise you didn't learn anything from the experience, instead you may of blamed others.

l have amazing friends covered in tattoos and amazing friends with no tattoos. Some of these people are and have low self esteem, lack of confidence, drug addicts, alcoholics, dole bludgers, black sheep, drama queen, trouble seekers, criminal, etc etc etc... they're going through a hard time and l will still support them....if l wash my hands of them like you have then l am on a no better journey of self destruction than them. These people need possitive affirmations not judgments.

Tripps: I agree..l think tattoos are wikid and love them on guys as well.

Definitely can't judge a book by it's cover

One day a 'dole bludger' might save your life http://i44.tinypic.com/2568i21.jpg

seeker

Venismecha - correct.

Seeker, what bearing does being deaf have on writing a sentence?
I can sit here and list all of your spelling errors if you wish but it's not going to help anyone.
You have experienced almost everything? That's awfully impressive for someone of only 37years......
Given you have essentially listed people with tattoos as dole bludgers, scum, etc etc I fail to see how that is anything other than a judgement.
I have no issues dealing with society or the government or the law and I have visible tattoos.....
Automatically stereotyped? I think not - the aforementioned tag lines are ones you stated....
It's perfectly ok to have an opinion and to state it. However, it's not ok to state your opinion and in doing so, insult people, stereotype them and call them criminals.
To make yourself look even worse, you've then painted everyone with the same brush and called them unintelligent....

By all means have an opinion, definitely read through the forums and post your opinion, it is a good thing we all contribute to things like this because it is entertaining and I'm sure we've all learnt something at some point or other. Just don't insult people in stating your opinion.

...

Well, we were going to step in here with an opinion, considering we know a shit load more "fully covered" tattoo'd people than I reckon anyone here has ever had the pleasure to call friends, but given that people simply can't read... or rather, they read what they want to read... we'll stay out of it :)

Seeker, good on you for expressing your opinion. To all the others taking offence, take a step back and read. He wasn't having a go, he was expressing an opinion. We're all entitled to that.
