I would assume...

...that men not turning up would indicate that they are cheating on their partner.

Or perhaps that they are attached and just enjoying a fantasy within the thrill of the chase.

Having them pay for a room might help, but in the case of the fantasy-type guys - you might find that they've booked a fantasy room which also doesn't really exist... which would become even more inconvenient for you.

Are you being stood up often?  I can't imagine why.  In any case, let us know how you go with your hotel booking plan.

The thrill

Men tend to do that for the thrill and the chase. Personally I find it offensive and rude too.
There't not much of a way around it. Unless you ensure that he is there first and your turn up later to miss being stood up.
Goodluck. and I'd never do that to you or anyone

depends on what age you are looking at

If you are looking for the the right age as some young inexperienced males want to but get to shy were as older openminded males are very keen so try all sorts and see if you can break the drought

To be 100% truthful..............

I have never blown a meet, ever.
Have had it done to me a lot of times (a common occurrence here it seems....)
Some guys are all talk and "bottle out" when it comes to the "Vinegar Stroke".
I accept that sometimes, life can get in the way of play, but really, the bottom line is:
If you make date, stick to it, otherwise it might bite you.
"What goes around, comes around".

I dont think there is an AGE GROUP thing going on here, but Older men DO tend to show up, cos they do have responsibility, well.. i dare say, mature enough, have balls to do so, and genuinely interested to go, and so forth...

Plus they have more experience in first meets, so they got the gist of it, and no longer shy about it.

Then again, this does not hold true in general, some young bloke do this as well, also some old blokes do not show up at all.

It is hard to spot which is which, but i can only suggest is keep going, eventually, you meet a few genuine members....

The best suggestion is Group meet. Meet where others are there as well.. *shrugs* i dont know... I'd certainly would meet you at a pub/party and get to know you a little...

Either way... I don't bother with a guy that doesn't show up without a good reason

It happens too often

Plenty more fish in the sea of rhp...

I just move on to the next one :)

Though getting them to pay for a room in advance is a good idea ;)
