Hi ladies, we all know that you are way outnumbered by guys (terrible for us, great for you) so we have to put a bit of effort in if we want to get any notice.

I am curious. What is the perfect first message?

Because I usually follow several key rules.
-Introduce myself first up
-Show that I have read their profile by commenting on something
-ALWAYS make sure spelling and grammar is good
-Proof read
-try to make it chuckleworthy

I still don't get a hell of a lot of replies. am I doing it wrong? or are girls just sick of getting thousands of messages a day.

I would reply to a message that follows those rules (even if you are all the way across the country)

It is true that statistically it seems reply rates on here are very low it is not just single ladies, couples and guys are guilty of this too, I don't really know the reason and besides that has been done to death on other threads.

All I can say is don't drop your standards and think " well it doesn't mater anyway" because ultimately it is a numbers game and eventually you will get a response that will hopefully lead to loads of fun for you.

Although I looked at your profile and there's a bit of a focus on looks, combine that with your pic and maybe you're just a bit too intimidating for them?

You can't help being sexy, but sometimes women can't help being self-conscious.

Not being critical but you might want to get a different picture as the touch ups are a bit intense.  I noticed that your chain kind of disappears right into your neck and the left side of your face is a bit uneven.  My apologies if that photo hasn't been retouched and I am way out of line.

I remember the original version of that pic, he was just as pretty then as he is now..

yes it is touched up CM, but only because my ex was in there and i have very few photos as i was always the one behind the camera..

and yesss, she certainly does..

Honestly though, my comments about going to the gym weren't at all because of looks, it was more because i have had very little else to do for the past two years and that is what interests me the most, i love going to the gym and the fact that i am finally starting to notice some results

i like that you've left her in the 2nd pic but self conscious girls will see her in light of your comments on looks and think your standards are going to be higher than us every day girls can reach

funnily enough chilli, my standards aren't that high at all, sure a hot girl is nice for some fun, but i prefer a lady that knows how to have a good time and be realistic..
