Hi All Why is it that so many people keep looking at my profile multiple times each, yet no-one is interested in meeting me? Does anyone else experience this? phantomcs

It is a very hard place to try and meet people, you send them messages and they just ignore them, it does not take much to reply and say you are not interested. Who is the lucky person meeting all these girls?

know what u mean !

take a close look at their profiles.. you'll notice a a lot of things in common in their details, description and what they are looking for. So similar in fact that you'd think they were created by the same person .... get my drift ? :) I ignore any girl who keeps looking at my profile who is 18-28 who 'just wants to have fun' and wants to meet anyone aged 0-99.  I mean... as if !

Hi Phantomcs Mrs 2sexyou here, you know I think what people on RHP are generally after is a person that is a bit mysterious, someone that likes to play games, you know....have a bit of fun with it.

Should I Go Back To Sydney?

Hi ppl I'm fed up + need 2 giv a spray!  (sorry) I grew up in Sydney...moved 2 Hobart @ the end of January 2004.  I was 22yo then. I find that ppl in Tas r (generally) arrogant, stuck up, like they want 2 b cut off from others outside their immediate networks... maybe it comes with having a lifestyle 2 slow 4 their own good... oh, + the THOUSANDS of BOGANS! It's probably the nicest capital city in the country in terms of scenery. Pity the locals can't match that! I don't hav a job. I turned down the best opportunity I've ever had last year cos it was in Sydney + I couldn't even afford the airfare 2 go back 4 the interview!  I don't hav a social network cos ppl aren't interested in basic conversation beyond "G'day mate, how r ya?" - if u get that far...  Of course, I didn't go 2 school here, which wouldn't help. I've missed a really good friend's wedding (in Sydney). I've known her since we started infants school together in 1987. Just one thing.... I have my parents here. + my brother. + my brother's kids (currently both under 2yo).  The family is close-knit, although I also have more family still in Sydney + in rural NSW. Hobart is driving me crazy!  Wot should I do?  Wots your opinion? phantomcs

man that sux

Hi phantomcs that certinly dosn't sound like much fun for you, I have grown up & lived my whole life in Hobart & I think it is a great place but I would agree with you that there are lots of rude arrogent people here & not having a job or any money would totally suck & make it even worse! Apart from that most of the girls who live here will only talk to you if you look like Brad Pitt & most are rude stuck up snobs! On the up side I think there are still lots of cool people here too, I guess it's hard not knowing anyone much & trying to start from scratch to make a whole new friend network! Don't worry I'll be your mate! I also think that most of the female hobart profiles on here are fake, I even sent one a message asking if she was fake & still didn't get a reply!! If someone called me a fake I would be pretty quick to prove I wasn't.

Do what's right for you

Phantomcs, If it is not happening for you here, go back to Sydney.  Airfares se such that if you have a good job you can visit regularly.  You can't live our life for other people. I moved here over 4 years ago from NSW and I love Hobart. I have made some great friends and  I keep busy.  If a place is not working for me though, I move on, which is why I have lived all over Oz. If you are miserable you are not going to attract anyone.  Cya Wilds
